Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and also to the wonderful world of the Kyosho Blizzard. I bought a Blizzard SR during the Holidays and I'm very happy with it. I just started to have a little problem with one of the motors but I'll come around to fixing that shortly. I own several RC's wich also means I have a few transmitters laying around the house. One of them is a Spektrum DX3e wich I use with my Losi 22 and my Axial Wraith ... Would this 3 channel pistol grip receiver work for the Blizzard ( with the appropriate Spektrum receiver of course ) ?? |

I am not familiar with the DX3e but if you are running stock ECS's the radio must have channel mixing for the blizzard to work with pistol radio. |

yes, but not without som mod. with a pistolgrip you need to add a mixer in the SR. Sabertooth is one way. I also used this: http://www.action-electronics.co.uk/pdfs/P40D.pdf with no problem. it will also let you run whatever esc and motor you want :-) |

Thank you for your much appreciated replies guys !!! I'm thinking of the Sabertooth 2x12 R/C since it seems to be the logical esc upgrade. |
