Here is the Blizzard I got last winter as a nitro and quickly converted to Brushless. The Traxxas Velinion is a easy drop in. I needed to replace the servo so, it's time for a teardown, as much as I hate to take this thing apart, in seven or so minutes it 's in pieces. I put in a smaller servo so I thought I would extend the levers from the brakes to make it easier on the servo. I saw it here on the forum, also cut the top aluminum plate in half, put spacers between the motor mounts and the plate to lower the motor so the spur gear just clears the bottom of the cat. Two 2200 3cell down low, I run with the drive sprockets in the back on both my cat's, so battery's are in what I call the front. shock's for the front wheel. Some 125k diff fluid to replace the stuff that leaked out over the summer and she's ready. Pic's------------ |

Hi, Looks very nice, how did you set up the shock on the front? Thanks Jasper |

On the normal Blizzards this shock would be on the back, i run my drive sprockets on the back, like the one I run at work. |

My Blizzard has no shocks on it so I was wondering how you mounted it. Nice job btw! |

OK the rear wheel is mounted different than the rest it has a plastic link that pivots and tensions the track, the bottom has has a linkage and O rings, the top a place to mount a shock, I got the idea from a post on this forum. |
