Like the video, sucks about the tracks! I would assume that this would be happening because you might have them on way to tight. You should have them on loose, and then loosen them more!

Thanks for the reply and watching my video!

I wondered about the tightness. I spun them off the first time so I tightened them according to the instructions (or so I thought). Do you think the rubber on these cant handle brushless speeds and/or extremely low temperatures?

I know the rubber shrinks in extreme cold, if I take my SR out in -20c or less it clicks/locks like I have the tracks to tight, above -20c it goes away, so i suspect the rubber shrinks quite a bit. They where never designed with the EV/EP in mind I would think as they are sold as an SR accessory.

I personally would never run them on my EP.

Well that truly sucks! :/

I got three sets ready to install on my "CATS" and this is a little disheartening to be sure.

Wow. Anybody else having issues on go fast rigs or just in general with these things??

I have not had mine on a go-fast cat personally (I don't own one). On my SR, I have had it out in some cold weather (around -10) but I run them VERY loose and saw no problem. I imagine the rubber must shrink (hence the running them loose) and of course it will get more brittle as the temperature drops.

I know, I know, captain obvious...

Same as Timmy my SR is more of a working machine than a go fast one but it has plowed and groomed a lot in temperature bellow -20 C. My tracks are still in great shape and would never go back to the plastic one.

I would go with the too tight option. Mine are on the real loose side.

Bad bad having a breakage like that. :-(((

Hmmm, well if this is the case, "not good on go fast rigs", you'all keep an eye in the forsale section here. I'll probably be using only one of my sets for the vintage people hauler and selling the other two sets.

I'll give this site first dibs when I decide to list them, cause you guy's are A-OK in my book.

Dang it anyhow, should've researched a little and been more patient. I always impulse buy and I always over do it too! Somethings never change, lol.

I plan on testing the heavy metal tracks on my SR with the dual Titan 380's. It may be perfect power. I just have to check my track tension. :)

Well, I am unsure: Is it the faster spinning of the tracks, or is it the colder temperatures? As I am playing it out in my head, it must be both. The faster the track is going, the more stress. Mainly, it's probably not the speed, but the quick 'snap' the track gets from an instant acceleration from a standstill would be the most stress I would think (like grabbing a rubber tube and slowly stretching it versus quickly pulling it in opposite directions). The rubber feels nice and strong, and I wouldn't think that it would be a problem in the least bit. But, at very cold temperatures, well, I don't know how much more weak/brittle the material gets every degree below freezing, but it MUST get a little weaker every degree drop.

...and again, I have no idea what I am talking about.

Well, I will test the cold temperature soon, they forecast it at below 30 C next week and I have 2 titans 380 on it too.

My tracks are adjusted so that when I lift the snow cat by the tracks on each side they go as high as the top of the body.

I will keep you posted on how they do....
