Well my DF-300 EP has arrived and I must say that obviously my definition of "display model" and the sellers was a little different. This thing is used but I don't care!! I love it. My bad for not clarifying with the seller. This fact is more than made up for with the extra set of brand new tracks and the full bearing set that he included I can't wait to get my VXL brushless system into this bad boy! Just gotta figure out how to fit it in. ![]()

Not a bad price at all. I paid the sticker price of $269 for a NIB DF. |

Well just took it for a rip with the stock motor and an xl5 esc... top speed is right around the SR and man does it drive a ton different. When I get the VXL in there its gonna be like using a sledgehammer to put on base boards. The stock motor is definitely weak. Very little torque. On a side note it is very clean now! |

Oh and I really wish it was a single piece body... that two piece design is very poor. |

Looks like you have some power there and snow to go with it.

NICE! I know (I assume) most of you guys are into the slower more scale aspect of these things, plowing & grooming but there is something to be said about a "go fast" CAT!! Throwing rooster tails of snow and jumping over drifts is pretty darn cool. Can't wait for snow to hit ole Pgh. Pa. |

I get the impression for the majority of the regulars on here that it's actually both. I think a lot of us own both types but there is less to show off with a go fast cat. You are right though sometimes you just need big rooster tails! Edited by FrozenRC, Nov 24 2013, 12:20 PM.

I like more speed than scale, No plow or tiller for me. Just need snow now. |

HA! I stand corrected on two accounts, that's what I get for assuming things. LOL |
