Hey guys, after getting our Blizzards last Wednesday, mine did not drive as well as my sons did.so I took the body off and there was smoke rolling out of the electronics, looked to be the right drive motor and esc. I called Kyosho and they were awesome ,sent me all new stuff in 2 days! Well after reading on here I went ahead and ordered 2 Sabertooth esc's,one for my son,one for me,I installed mine last night and WOW!! drives a ton beter!!Sure seems like Kyosho should use an esc like this right from the get go!I do think mine is slower then it was stock, any ideas? |

You can change the speed how fast it goes reverse/forward from your transmitter trim levers: http://adamone.rchomepage.com/guide1.htm (see them here). Maybe that can solve your problem. Maybe it just feels to you "slow". |

If Kyosho, had half a brain they would recomend a sabertooth from the start. For the price the quality is not there. I love my Blizzard more than my Wraith, but have a ton of $$ in it to be right. Merry Christmas and hope you and your son have many great times with yours. Post a picture or two. |

Kyosho like all RC companies wants to make the max profit!! They don't care about quality!! I guess in the end it could cost them in warranty repairs....lol. Yeah the Blizzard is no fun at all with stock ESCs!! I was tired and bored within 3 minutes of trying to get the stupid Blizzard to move...then reverse...what a joke!! Oh and plow control even lamer...lol Having to press the right stick left and right gets tricky when wanting to move the Blizzard forward in a straight line!! All in all happy to ditch the stock stuff and set aside for the Blizzard SR archives at Kyosho...hahahaha |
