I just got my DF-300 and was wondering what do you do after a run in the snow to dry it out? Remove the excess snow and let it dry? Do you use WD-40 after? Thanks, Dan |

I do nothing. If it has sealed bearings, or the original bushing, you should not need to lubricate it anywhere. I usually bring it in and let the snow melt, then sometimes use my compressed air to dry it, but it is not necessary. |

I start the season by spraying some silcone on the blizzard. When I'm done blasting though the snow for the day I blow off the snow/water when I can. The times I don't get to blow it off I just leave it in the sink to drip dry. Pretty much like Timmy |

Ok, thanks. I'll check to see if it has bearings or bushings. If it has bushings, I'll order bearing from ebay. I'll be putting a brushless system in it pretty soon. What kind of silicone spray do you put on? |

I have used general silicone for waterproofing tents, boots etc.... seems I remember someone saying something about using cooking spray like PAM or similar too, have to look and see if I can find it. |
