I was wondering if anyone can tell me if 18 Gauge wire will be good enough for the new Blizzard SR? I have some wire from my old computer power supply that is 18 AWG. The wire is nice and seems like it would be easy to work with. What does Kyosho use for factory wires? I am clueless. I am going to be adding the Sabertooth 2x12 R/C to my new Blizzard and was hoping this wire would work. I am buying some of those deans style XT connectors...ones with grips on them. Opinions appreciated thanks. ![]() |

I get all my wire here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/store/uh_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=466 I use up to 8 gauge on my PlowBot and all the wire is very high quality. This wire is the super flexible, high quality wire (just like Dean's wire). You should be just fine with 16 gauge with the wire less than 12" in length. The longer the wire the more resistance = more heat and power loss. Edited by Itch, Dec 18 2011, 11:00 AM.
