Nice Reaper! I hope to do lights later on down the road. I see that Acer Superworm Silicone Wire 16 Gauge 10 feet is a new product and won't ship until next week. I got in on their sale pricing! Looks like it will be sweet stuff.

Here you go Blowout, Use this: http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz - Enter in your battery pack voltage (7.2 typically) - For forward voltage, if you are using white or super bright LEDS use (3.2) - For forward current, if you are using white (20) or super bright (30). - enter how many LEDs you want to wire up - Select wiring diagram for output It should give you an nice diagram with resistor values how to wire it up. It is very easy to do, and you can use a very thin wire, I use around 26 gauge depending on what you have available. |

Well I had a little extra time on my hands tonight so I threw some lights on that I picked up today from my LHS. this is a integy light bar with the traxxas led's from its summit light bar setup. The traxxas led's were a little brighter so i threw those in instead.![]() ![]() ![]() |

I ripped apart the traxxas light bar and made each light head an individual head. going to put two facing back since you dont need much light for that but dont know if i want them on the roof or on the deck by the exhaust stack. the other hard part where to put the other two dont need much side light. |

Nice job on the lights! they look really cool. I made mine out of cap lights for your hats. I tore them apart and modified the base and wiring. It cost me a total of $2.59 for all the lights. What a bargin. I needed a low profile light bar so the boom would clear it when it swivels.
