Ok, i looked at the things that starwarsguy9786 textured and made, and since hes helping out with me getting weapons in for us, i think we should give him an invite, he also made some muchroom re-tex's, and i thouight we could use them. Plz consider this, and as far as i know, and from who has been posting, i think its just me quix, and boe. And if thats the way it is, if its only 3 ppl working on this project when its supposed to be around 7, then im getting us some needed help, 3 ppl can build a world. And im tired of our guys onot responding. I realise that we all have lives to live, but if you say you will dedicate lots of your time to something, or even decide to do something that would take up this much time, then leave your friends to dry, thats just wrong. Maybe im being rash, but i for one want to get this done before tr does, or better yet, done period. Sry if i put you down quix or boe, but if noone here sees that we need ppl so badly, then ok, ill take matter into my own hands. and ill admit, no, im not the best at anything here, but if noone steps up and gets everyone else under control, who will my friends? |

ok, take a deep breath. calm down abit. asking friends to join isn't a problem at all. in fact, strangely enough, after looking at SWQ's new mushrooms a few minutes ago, i actually thought of asking him myself. talk about coincidence. but you have to realize that there will be days, or sometimes even weeks, where it will seem like there's no progress around here. people have jobs, families, etc. if you neglect real life, it ends up burning you out on internet life and modding in the long run. there needs to be balance. don't get me wrong, i get frustrated too. some of that has been documented here on the board. but you have to allow everyone to do things at a comfortable pace, otherwise you end up losing them altogether. make sense? anyway, see if your buddy SWG is interested, invite him over here to say hi. we don't bite p.s. i'm still working my butt off on the Great Forest and surrounding areas, but i've been derailed a bit the last couple weeks with a nasty computer virus that's randomly been crashing my computer and slowing everything down. i think i may have it handled at this point, and have the next couple days off, so expect some screenshots soon. ok quix, im sry i blew up, i just get overly mad sometimes, but yeah, ill go talk to swg, i also have another question that may sound ridiculous, but noetheless, i really want to know. so here goes. Sooner or later, will you promote me to admin? i know this will sound ridicuous, but lets face it, ive submitted about 10 things maybe more, for ppl to texture and stuff, ive given more ideas out, and have tried to keep my lid on about everything. now i didnt really blow up there, but i hope for everyones sake, this is as far as i go lol. |

you know, you're the second new person to join the team and ask about being promoted to Administrator status. the Admins are the main project leaders. like Fliggerty at Great House Fliggerty, Haplo & Lady Nerevar at Tamriel Rebuilt... or . i know it seems like everyone but you is an "admin", but that's only because it's just been the leaders doing most of the work and discussion around here forever. now that doesn't mean you can't be promoted. if you show improvement as a modder and continue to contribute to the project and be as enthusiastic about it, you'll most assuredly end up as a Moderator of some sort. and if you end up being really marvelous at some aspect of modding the project and contributing a great deal in that area, as well as showing the ability to be a level-headed leader who makes responsible decisions, then you'll definitely have a shot at being promoted to Head Moderator in that category. being promoted isn't just about proving that you can mod, it's about putting in the time and work on the project itself, and contributing in substantial ways. but, considering that it's still a relatively new project and there are still few members, you're definitely joining at the right time.

ok, i get it now. sometimes i neglect the part of my brain that tries to think, and i just pmed swg on the forums, with any luck, he will respond. and if he doenst soon,. thats because i sent him 2 models to work on, they are kinda cool, one is a bladed walking staff, which could be a 2 handed long blade, or a blunt weapon, havcent decided yet, and the other is kind of like a cross between and aztice(3 points on the end. aka a kule) and a longsword/rapier. there are barbs running down the blade. im making hopefully around 15-20, and as i said in the bethsoft forums, they are supposed to be weapons that people havent made before |

ok, i guess i misunderstood him, he pmed me at the bethsoft forums, and it said this Hey, I need some help with this, I can't seem to get the files as nifs, I downloaded the blender nif scripts but the installer wants me to install Python even though I already have it, so can you please try and get these as nifs? I have .obj versions if that will help. any explanation as to what could be wrong? i think if we could solve this, we could make (eventually, like total, near the end of our project) potentially 100 weapons. maybe its an exxageration, but as i said on the forums, im starting my modding life out big, and making lots of friends so that i can get help when needed |
