Hi there, I'd like to join the team and be apart of the world building team. I have plenty of experience in the TES Construction Set. I've created several NPC's, races, dialogue, and landmasses. Iv'e done a few quests as well but thats not my strong spot. I was sent a private message that states that if I want ot join, then say Hi on the shocase forum. So here I am.

Thank you,

hey, thanks for responding so quickly. we're happy to have your help. you'll notice that things are a lot friendlier over here than at the Bethesda Forums.

is there any way you could post some screenshots of any work you've done? if not, we'll figure something out.

anyway, welcome!

Yeah man, those people in the other forum are rough, ha ha. But I might be able to take some. Right now I'm working on a landmass thats about as big as Solsthiem. I'm working on terrain right now. I think I'm best in making cities, so thats my strong spot. So are we making the same thing like in Oblivion? Same cities and everything?

the Oblivion version will definitely be used as a reference, and basic layout, but not much more. we want to retain a feel that will be very similar to what folks who have played TESIV will recognize, but without being so homogenized and empty feeling... oh, and roughly 1 1/2 to 2 times the size!

well, we're starting off by just doing the Imperial City and it's surrounding area as a sort of proof of concept release.. i'm not sure how much of the terrain has been done so far, but i do know that finding a dedicated modeler has left us at a standstill in the IC itself.

i've recently contacted someone over at the BGS forums who offered his services, we'll see how that pans out.

the team is small, but slowly growing. once we've completed something worth showing off, folks will show more interest in joining.

awsome, but i need some help in exporting the file. I've never posted a mod file on a forum before. Do we need the armor and clothing like Oblivion has, like the city armor? (ex. Imperial City Guard armor) Or will we just use the armor thats already in the TES. Also, are we going to make every landmark? Like in Oblivion?

DJGamer or Sabian can help you with the file problem, if they show up around here today again... hopefully so.

and, yes, we'll be recreating the armor sets from OB or doing our own, as well as all the landmarks.

but they don't really have to be exactly like the OB ones, just reminiscent. we have a lot of free reign to do what we want in our version of Cyrodiil, so have fun with it.

as Sabian and DJ are the official Officials around here, we'll leave that up to them.

what do you prefer doing though? what are your strengths, large objects (houses, structures) or smaller ones (weapons, kitchenware)??
