Ok so i have spent time around the GHF forums learning what i can to help further my knowlegde for modelling and finding out how to get blender models into nifskope, and i have DONE IT, they work at last OMFG spank my monkey, but........a problem, well more like a slight inconveinience, has occured, While exporting blender models, im still a bit unsure about wat comes up after the export winodw, its like a menu aboutwhat to do with the exporting, im sure SWG knows wat im talkin bout. But then after that all got sorted out, i went into nifskope and loaded the weapon, i found it was a very tiny thing, not at all what it was in blender, so i was all like :uhhuh:  , so i am now lost in nifskope, i posted on the shoutbox about it a tad, but as i said im a nif-noob so ill have to take time to aquaint myself with the controls. But if anyone can give me directions to the turotials they thought helped the most, or even to make up their own tutorial from the way they do it(prefferably, cause i dont take the word of a 10 year old tutorial very heavily), that would be the tits. But yeah the old Myth is back, and no, none of that ranting about noone bein around bs :applause: :applause: though theres a problem, i wont be able to be on much on the weekends, i got a gf awhile back, and we spend time together on the weekends, so i am limited on my being-here-ness on saturday-sunday, maybe friday too here and there.
But im back, lets throw a par....no wait, last time i threw a party i........ o well HI EVERYONE
Sry im still recovering from brain loss lol

Yes sir, and im sry for being tha way i was, looking back i see that was really imature at some points, and i apologise to everyone for being this way. Also, if anyone sees fit to reduce my satus, i wouldnt mind, i really havent been living up to standards and what everyone else was expecting of me. I apologise, but i am currently working on making weapons, and i have made my best one yet, but thats beside the point, i can try to make ruin models, or anything else anyone needs me to make, i need to catch up on work done and needed, and im sorry for not living up to what is expected of me again, i hope you guys arent angry at me, or see fit to exclude me from things, but if you do i undertsand, i dont take grudges or offense like i did before, im sorry for the way i was guys.

don't worry about stuff so much, Myth. we're all just friends here trying to create something cool and have fun.

as far as modeling goes, get with SWG and see if he needs any help with anything he's currently working on.

Great to see you back Myth, and about the blender nif-scripts and blender in General, I'd love to have a realtime conversation with you (on a messenger) just to discuss a lot of the things in blender I've learned.

So, other than what's been said, what's going on with you? Have you got any news or anything to our importance, because if not, I'd gladly assist you to get started again, because I'd love to have another modeler around, it's a pretty lonely job... nobody to talk to about stuff!

Im glad to be back SWG, but for one thing, i just got done modelling the best weapon, well least imo it is. But what all do we have to do in the moddeling department, also if you possibly walk me through all the things to do with the models wen exporting them as nifs, lke wat all sections to pick, or wat to do, cause im still a bit dark on that subject
Soul Trapper

But anyways wat all do we need to make, a list could work so i could pick n match between things i can do. But willing ready and (hopefully) able to make models.

I could lead you through the exporting processes on the chatbox sometime, but you've gotta texture, UVmap, then apply the texture to a model before it can be properly exported.

What needs to be done? Well I'm already working on the fort ruins, Rhymer from the Beth forums has volenteered to make the Aylied set, and the cave set's done.. so... There's still architectural stuff for the cites and things though, you could try making the Imperial city stuff, some of it's complex, but the towers shouldn't be too hard, and I can send you some of the original OB meshes if you'd like, so you can use them as a guide, like I do. Great method to get stuff looking exactly like it did/should.

When you said to texture then uv map do you mean apply a base texture to it in the uv editor while its unwrapped? If so i can give it a whirl, just need some experimental base textures to apply to, cause i dont got much of anytrhing to apply to a model. But i responded to ur pm a while back, so theres that.

No, I meant make the model's textures first, then UV map the textures onto the mesh. After that click on the sphere icon in the UI below, and click "add pipeline", then go to the right: Map Input>> and click "UV",

Next click on the little polkadotted square next to that sphere and click "add new", then go to the drop down list that just appeared and select "image", now at the right you will see a button that says "load", use that to load and apply your texture.

See if you just UVmap it it will show up in game mode with a texture, but if you render it with the internal rendered or export it out, it won't have a texture applied.

Anyways, hope that works! If it doesn't, make sure you have the latest blender and if it still doesn't let me know.

About the problem with it being too small, if you import a model of similar size alongside it, then scale it to size and delete the imported model, it should be fine.
