I have issues with the TC, especially since you're already supposed to be doing MASSIVE work for us here-that AND managing a TC as a near first-time modder, having never really done much beyond creating new models and putting them in-game in some capacity. I'd tell you the same things I told Sabian before he started this very project. You need to learn the tools of the trade, find some tutorials, there are some VERY good tutorials out there for dialogue, scripting, etc. If you want to get something done, you need to start by proving yourself for one, you need to be ABLE to do most of the work yourself, as other people cannot always be counted on.

Most of the great big mods out there have a thing or two in common, primarily they were created almost entirely by ONE PERSON. The Underground, mainly created by Qarl, Princess Stomper has made numerous great mods on her own, and the list goes on.

Anyway, perhaps I should be saying this in the thread itself, but I don't want to get lost in the sea of other comments that you might just shrug off as attempts at insults.

For the record, I have been here before, in fact I went right into modding wanting to put together a large landmass mod called Rydrenia. It was going to be awesome, but it just got too big for me. I've still found myself drawn to larger projects, but now I know it's best to start small, or at least to work on smaller things along the side.

Province: Cyrodiil is starting small as well, beginning with the Imperial City (which is quite ambitious on its own), and working our way out there there.

I personally recommend you either drop your TC project, put it on hold, or at the very least go for a different approach.

On-Topic: Praise Argonia, I'm really awaiting Sabian's input on this, I'm in some ways in charge here and likely have the rights to make you an "official" member of the team, but I'm not entirely one to just go around making everyone who wants to join a member (God knows we need that-I suppose).

I suppose at this point you could consider yourself an "unofficial" member of the team, wait until Sabian comes back and perhaps he'll make you "officially" a member.

Yes-and I of course mean no offense. Simply advice from someone who's been there before. Granted, I've never been good at modeling things-and in fact I started Rydrenia with no skills really in anything besides being creative, but having been part of other big projects like Hyrule Isle and the original Dawn of Oblivion-I think I know a thing or two about large mods. That and I've been part of the modding community for about three years so I've seen the rise and fall of many projects.

I'm not just saying this because I want you completely committed to just working on Province: Cyrodiil-heck Sabian the project's founder is doing a few projects on the side, and I am doing several other projects myself-although I like to consider my role here to be administrative and advisitory. And that's what I'm doing now, offering advice, and trying to make it as friendly as I possibly can.

See that grin, it's friendly. Kinda creepy, but friendly.

Hey i could help you with your dialogue vanir, i can do basic stuff but don't expect me to do complicated Dialogue scripting.

Ps. sorry for not posting in such a long time, i'm trying to get a grasp on scripting and on top of that i'm trying to learn to use the model blender, to me at the moment the blender seems impossible to use but then again that whats i thought when i first started using the cs kit.
