Power Faculty: Hybrid: Faculty of Transmutation + Faculty of Willpower

Powers/Abilities: Unlimited Gun Works Metal Metanoia (9)- An interesting ability that has made her a sought after asset for several military groups, Leiko's ability allows her to convert solid matter into arms (guns). The size of the weapon is only limited to the amount of material she has to work with, allowing her to create an entire militia's worth of guns simply by converting all the matter around her into live weapons. Unfortunately, these weapons are not truly permanent constructs. Eventually, they will return to their original material state, the smaller arms actually turning back quicker than larger ones. Because of their limited state of existence, the weapons themselves cannot be held by anyone and are instead controlled remotely via a form of (what is believed to be) telepathy Leila gains when using Metal Metanoia. Though the ability turns her into a one-woman army, the mental strain can quickly take its toll on her if she uses the power wantonly. However, the overwhelming brutality with which she wields it is designed to end fights before her mind breaks under the strain.

Military Training (S): Leila was trained for ten years at a secret military Esper training facility called Bahad Zero inside an army base near Zikim, Israel. The training was designed to maximize her combat lethality and increase her effectiveness at wielding her Esper ability. Aside from an intense focus on Esper combat and training her Esper abilities to maximize their efficiency and lethality (not to mention the young age at which they're "recruited"), the training is virtually indistinguishable from standard IDF training for army and special ops. recruits.

Dual-Pistol CQC (S): With seven years of special ops. training for closed quarters combat under her belt, Leila is a difficult opponent to combat while unarmed. While her personally developed style of fighting is eccentric, it's designed for her to use pistols at close range as clubs and make her punches extra lethal as each impact is instantly followed by a bullet. She was once able to combine this ability with kicking techniques while not wearing shoes, but broke more than one toe in the process.

"Administrative Assistant" (S): As Johnny Musashi's hired personal escort and secretary, Leila was naturally qualified to fill the position having the necessary skills to do her job. She can type 78wpm, is skilled in several different styles of dancing, speaks multiple languages at a basic conversational level, is an experienced field medic and has a 12th degree black belt in google-fu.

Personality:

Leiko is a bit of an odd-ball, always seemingly off in her own world as she stares out into space. She doesn't seem as much comatose as she does simply awed by the things she focuses on, like a child exploring its surroundings. While these trances are not dangerous and don't occur during combat, they have earned her a reputation as a ruthlessly clumsy and spacey air-head. Even so, Leila is a happy and determined individual who always aims to please the people that count on her. She has a deep respect for the chain of command and obeys her commanding officers without question. Outside of her job, she has a great love for shopping and often buys 3-4 new outfits a week (usually at Mr. Musashi's expense). Despite this, there is no denying she becomes an entirely different person while in the midst of combat. Once her guns are drawn, Leila's training kicks her into full-gear, turning her into a lethal instrument of suffering and destruction (okay thats exaggerating a bit, but it sounds cool, doesn't it?). Her usually wayward focus because one of incredible awareness and calculated thought and she seems to avoid speaking if necessary. It is uncertain if this radical polar shift between personalities is a programmed response by her former handlers or a coping mechanism designed by her own mind to reconcile the horrible things she was trained to do.

Personal History:.

Born in a small encampment in the Negev desert, Leila's family were victims of attacks near the Gaza Strip. An orphan from an early age (around five some suspect), she never developed reading or fully-developed language skills as a beggar on the streets for the early years of her life. Though not particularly talkative, she was a grateful and humble child, taking what she was given from the kind people she met on the street. She had very few clothes of her own, often wandering the street dressed in nothing but a tarp to keep from further wearing out her worn out clothing. While most of the time she was offered a place to stay by kind people, Leila became used to having to sleep outside if need be and often camped out in abandoned animal dens. After spending four more years this way, Leila finally ended up wandering out of the desert into the proper city of Zikim, Israel. Here, her begging seemed less welcome than in the desert encampments she had grown up around. The local police were quick to try and pull her off the street, but Leila fled, believing she had done something wrong or was being robbed.

After a short chase, she was cornered in an alleyway by two officers who attempted to subdue her, causing the young girl to panic. The panic triggered her dormant Esper abilties, causing the dumpster next to her to turn into a primitive explosive weapon. The officers, stunned, drew their weapons and pointed them at Leila who ran and hid behind the former receptacle. On instinct, the weapon fired, completely obliterating the two peace-keepers. Exhausted by the effort, she fainted, where arriving officers picked her up. A local scientist, secretly working on a hidden base called Bahad Zero heard of the incident and went to the station to claim the girl. By secret military order, she was handed over to the IDF where she would spend the next eight years of her life being crafted into a weapon. Since then, it is unknown exactly what missions her or anyone else from her secret unit have conducted, but the funding for the project was eventually pulled, leaving its fruits to try and find a new purpose for their existence.

Leila began the difficult task of adjusting to normal life, but seemed to be running into trouble wherever she went. Unlike many of the others, she had never truly had a normal life or a society to adjust back into. Fortunately, the military scientist who had originally claimed Leila contacted her about helping her make the transition as an apology for what he and the IDF had put her through all those years. From there, he spent the next year teaching her about the world and what it meant to be free of the military, but despite his efforts, that part of Leila did not appear to fade. Unable to do much more, the scientist decided to send her out to experience the world for herself, putting out a contract call for those looking for an Esper "assistant". Their ad would answered by one Johnathan Musashi. The rest, as they say, is history.
