"I don't think luscious is a good way to word it, Bolo-san," Aisia sighed, though it certainly didn't help that Miharu was still wearing that ridiculously skintight suit. Meanwhile, it seemed that Haken decided to take their advice and actually get some pants, but it was the last thing he said that got Liz's attention - the name of his master, Largo. It made her facepalm a bit. "Oh my God, I think I know who he's referring to..." Liz sighed. Largo was both friend and rival to her own teacher, Jun Kitami, and he was notorious for doing most of his work (especially the work with the ECU settings) in the nude. It something Jun didn't understand either but admitted that such a trivial thing didn't make him any less crazy than he was, as his tunes were just as effective... and dangerous. Either way, she turned to Charlie when he asked what she wanted him for. "Ah, yes, you. Well, I vaguely remember you saying that you don't have a place to live here just yet..." Liz sighed. She normally didn't do this, but given how he already got involved and she was now taking him under her roof at the moment, she couldn't exactly leave him alone. "I'll need to know your situation better, but given how young you look, I could assume with a high degree of confidence that you're a student at Nova Oasis. Given the current violence that's in the streets lately, I can't just let you stay out on your own. Same with you, Aisia. "HOWEVER," she said, raising a finger in the air to stop them before they said anything, "It's not a free lunch. You'll have to help out in taking care of the house, and you may have to get a job as well to cover expenses." "I don't mind acting as a maid, but... wait, what about Haken?" Aisia asked. "You can't just leave him be... he says that you know his master because you have his picture, and he's looking for him." "... I knew it," she sighed. "Well, he seems to be a handy enough man. As long as he can keep his pants on, he can work in the garage. I do run a tuning shop of sorts, after all. All three of you can stay here." She then turned to Terado and smiled. "Except you... I get the feeling that you already have a place here in Nova Oasis, or are the sort of person who can't stay in one place, yes?" Meanwhile, Artemis spoke. "Eliza-sama, I've finished the preliminary scan. She has some damaged hardpoints on her that connect the main body of the plane with some kind of attachment pack. The original programming is also... unstable." "... Unstable?" Miharu sighed. "<It apparently has a setting for 'make clothes explode' or something. When it was miniaturized, we were still working out the kinks with regards to transforming.>" Liz blinked. "I'll need to look at it better when I'm free. Anyway, what do you think, Char? I'd say it's a good deal. You and Haken can sleep in the guest room, while Aisia sleeps with me." Aisia gasped. "Eh!? But..." "No buts, miss. It's just the decent way to do it. You may trust them, but it would be best to put the potential for such troubles out of the way until all of you can stand on you own," Liz said, as if to dissuade Aisia from rejecting the offer for fear of being too intrusive. That and the last part of her phrase did indicate that this was definitely not a permanent thing. All she needed was an answer from Charlie and Haken at this point, but this could also give Bolo a chance to offer something of his own. |

Terado couldn't resist but raise an eyebrow at Haken. In all honesty had he been alive a couple centuries ago, he would have fitted right in with Sentinal culture. If these girls think that Haken and himself were bad, they would have been frightened sick by Terado's father. More often than not he'd surprised Terado with a hug while still in the buff. Needless to say, the tail that Terado had been growing was stifled by these memories. Terado chuckled at Aisia when she commented. "My dear girl, I think I ought to teach you a thing or two." he said playfully, resisting the urge to ruffle Aisia's hair. He then listend to Liz converse with Charlie and everyone else. Apparantly the homeless situation was worse than Terado had thought when seeing the news. But when Liz finally addressed him nodded, "Nova Oasis has one of my estates yes. I generally am mobile for my own good." Terado listened to the conversation between the lot of them about having to share rooms. He sighed. He needed to repay this lot somehow. After all, at least he hadn't have to go through the whole business of waking up cold in the ruins and having to make his way back down to the manor house. "Not that it's really any of my business, but I get the inclination that Aisia isn't too comfortable with sharing a room." He looked away for a moment before looking back to the lot of them. "My mansion here in Nova Oasis has more than enough rooms to accomodate you all living there and still enough space for any of your experiments." he said indicating to the skygrasper. "I probably won't be here for much longer, but it would at least make my maids and butler happy to serve a master instead of just staying and looking after a large empty house." Terado gently stroked his eagle totem. "Would you like that, Miss Eliza?" Besides, Terado preffered it being lived in by a couple of Espers as opposed to simply humans. He had certain commodoties in there that he'd preffered to be unknowingly guarded. |

Charlie watched everyone else as they spoke, only nodding when he was being addressed. Living here with all them would be wonderful. They were all such nice people, even if some of them were a bit strange. He glanced at Aisia in her maid outfit and made a mental note to himself. The blonde would have to ask her where she got it later. Maybe they could be matching maids? He grinned at the thought. And sleeping in the same room as Haken wouldn't be so bad. The man would just have to... well, deal with Charlie's... well. That was a conversation for later, he supposed. His ears perked, however, when the stranger in the room started talking about having an estate somewhere nearby. Although he barely knew this fellow, the offer was pretty sweet. "Not to be rude or anything, but I wouldn't mind living in an estate. I just don't want to impose on anyone, to be quite honest." He paused, "I mean, I could help clean here just like Aisia, but what could I possibly do for you in your mansion if you already have the help arranged?" |
