"I smell popcorn!"
"Aah..." Charlie bit his lip, "That's the thing. I'm trying, it's just... difficult. I don't really know how to train it. I'm really good at moving tons of little things." He sat up and looked in front of them. Across the way were a bunch of fallen sakura petals. "Here, watch."

The blonde raised his hands up, palms down. He quickly raised his arms above his head, and they all flew up into the air like the wind had blown them. This time he didn't have to concentrate as hard to move them. Then he moved his hands back and forth, making the petals dance with each other in the air. When he stopped, they began to fall gently back to earth, and Charlie put his hands down beside him again.

"The ball is in your court."
Sasha's breath hitched in his throat as he watched the beautiful display. His eyes followed the petal dance avidly until they fell back to earth, and he gasped. "That's fantastic...."

Catching an escapee petal that was now just riding on the breeze with his eyes, he watched it gently fall on the top of Charlie's head. Sasha breathed audibly as he appraised the combination of soft golden hair and light pink together in the sunlight. "...Really beautiful."

"It's just a trick. It'll be more useful when I can really move people and larger things." He sighed and closed his eyes, taking in the scent of the recently fallen petals, "Just a parlor trick for now, really." And then he turned his eyes back to Sasha and smiled, "What about you? It's your turn to tell me something about yourself."

Charlie winked, "All I know is your name, Sasha Bahari." There was a pause before he continued with a laugh, "Well, that and you obviously like me to some extent."

Sasha grinned, "Eh, you're alright."

Sighing again, Sasha dropped one hand down to his stomach to play with the hem of his shirt as he thought of what to say. "My favorite color is green...And...hm." He pursed his lips, "I play rugby, soccer...Uhh. Well, what do you want to know?" He looked sheepish, "I can't really think of something on the spot."

Charlie was already intrigued, even though the other man had only told him so little so far. He had turned his full attention to Sasha and rested his elbows on his knees and then placed his head in his hands, staring intently at the brunette. "Where were you born?" He asked simply, figuring he might as well start at the basics, "Do you have siblings? Where did you grow up?" Charlie figured he should ask three questions at a time, otherwise he would be shooting them out every two seconds. His curiosity had been ignited!

Sasha laughed as Charlie's curiosity. "Well, I'm an only child and I was born in Maine. I grew up in a bunch of different places when I was younger though. My father's side is comprised of, well, I guess you could call them gypsies, and I was traveled to many places in the middle-east and India when I was a kid."

He bit his lip in thought, "That was only when I was younger though. When I was more of a teenager I attended private boarding schools in Maine." Sasha began to fidget and play with the hem of his shirt some more, unsure if Charlie wanted to know more.

The blonde's eyes went wide at the word 'gypsies'. He wasn't sure if he should ask more, but he needed to know. Charlie was really interested, "Oh wow, that's amazing!" He said enthusiastically, "How was school? I've been to private schools before, but nothing like boarding school."

Sasha was torn between laughing and crying. "Well...They were...all-boy private schools. So that was fun." He grimaced at the many conversations he'd had with his mother about his 'friends' there, and 'adventures' there, and so on and so forth.

"I made a few friends, everyone was pretty nice. Nothing special though. The uniforms made me look silly in my opinion." He breathed deeply, "I was on the rugby team there which is were I first learned to play, along with soccer."

"Hmm... Rugby must've been where you learned to tackle and pin people down, eh?" Charlie couldn't help the smug smile on his face. But before Sasha could react to that, he was ready with more questions, "And then you came here? Did you graduate from high school or anything? When did you find out your powers?"

Then something struck Charlie as odd. "Wait, you still haven't told me what you can do." He looked confused for a split second before cheering back up with, "What can you do?"

Sasha laughed out loud, enamored by Charlie's cute curiosity. "H-Hold on, hold on, one question at a time." Stretching out again, he rolled the bottom of his shirt up and down nervously as he tried his best to figure out how to answer all of these questions.

"Ok! So. Pick one of those questions, and I'll answer. I think I heard about fifteen at once."

Charlie pursed his lips in thought and annoyance. He tilted his head to the side and looked up to the sky, then brought his eyes back down to the prince before him, "What are your powers?" He figured that was the question he wanted to hear the answer to the most. More than any other question he asked before. After all, pretty much made him show off his own powers. Although the aura thing was mostly all his doing.

Sasha hummed, "Okay." Bringing himself to sit in an upright position, he got onto his knees before Charlie. Rummaging through his pockets again, he procured a deck of cards.

Shuffling them through his hands, he looked at Charlie, "Pick a card, any card, and I'll try and guess it." He held his hands out as his long fingers spread the cards face down in a fan pattern.

Charlie raised a speculative eyebrow at his prince before reaching up and taking a card off to the left a bit. "Parlor tricks for you too?" He teased as he looked at his card. Nine of spades. Well, at least it wasn't the queen or anything. That would be too ironic.

"Now what?" He looked back up at Sasha with expecting eyes.

Sasha smirked at Charlie's expression, "This is going somewhere Princess, I swear." Sasha closed his eyes as a look of concentration crossed his face. "Okay, put your card back into the deck, and I'll see if I can guess it."

With his eyes still closed, he waited patiently for him to put the card back.

Still unbelieving of this trick, the blonde slide the card back into the deck and sat back to wait and see what happened next. Charlie hoped it would be something grand, but if Sasha was just going to guess his card, then that wasn't really too much fun, really.
