The mechanical sound of the camera unwinding the roll of film and loading it into place. He tapped his finger down lightly snapping a second shot of the east wing of the Alpha labs read loading bay. He took the camera in his other hand unscrewing the lens and tucking it in his pouch while retrieving a new one. He twisted it zooming into the rear entrance, specifically on the containers and loading crates. He snapped several shots with the outdated camera.

He lowered the camera and smiled softly. His gray eyes reflected the light of the morning sun, almost shining with light from withing and from outside. He unscrewed the lens again and replaced it with a short wide focus lens. He snapped another shot of the whole wing of the compound. He then dropped the camera, letting it hang around his neck. He turned a bit, looking behind him. A guard was coming? Hurm, how to handle this... He oculd use his cover story... He could show that he has clearance and probably get off too.. But then he'd be revealing his hand...

..and that GLADIUS was keeping an eye on the labs that were in their own company.. No, that was completely the wrong choice... And then there was option th-

He tripped backwards, falling on his butt... His back fell over dumping out several magazines and the camera and all it's lenses tumped out onto the dirt. "Uh.. er.. ah.. S-Sorry.." He said fumbling around with his things. He glanced up... Th.. that wasn't a guard....

'I'm an IDIOT.'

Santiago was... walking around. Yes, he was just a student, but he wasn't that informed... yet... on which and where he should and shouldn't be. Besides, wanderlust was a sickness that was nice to have, even better than insomnia which sometimes backstabs you when you actually need to sleep. So, there you have it. He's... there... without much of a working reason.

Stately buildings Santiago already had the chance to see, when he was still not whisked off from his little archipelago. Still, the order, the cleanliness, and the clumping of such impressive buildings together were... impressive.

He wasn't really paying attention to anybody else... well, when he checked, there didn't seem to be anybody else around the parameter, except for the gaurds, and they were... er... positioned where they were supposed to be positioned. That was why our lightweight was a bit surprised when, well, he bumped into someone...

Well, he didn't really properly bump into that someone, but it seemed like he fell over himself. Magazines, camera, a mess... a reporter? Well, it wasn't much of his concern, he wasn't a guard, like he said, he was just a student... he simply looked at the guy. He kneeled down, and started picking up the person's disarranged things. Just... trying to help a bit.

"Ah.. Er.." Cypriss fumbled with his papers, shoving them into his bag roughly. I was suspicious, which was exactly what he wanted. Trying not to be suspicious WAS suspicious. No, everyone acted mysteriously in some ways. Everyone had things to hide. He just had to make the things he was 'hiding' very obvious. To cover up the things he was ACTUALLY hiding. He took his camera and the lenses tucking them into the back and taking the things from the other person quickly, shoving them in without sorting them, just making his bad a complete mess.

"Th... Thanks... I dropped all my stuff and I'm not even supposed to be here..." He sighed heavily looking down while rubbing his neck awkward. "S-Sorry.." He stood, dusting his knees off and adjusting his glasses. "A-Actually.. What are YOU doing here.. Er.. Wait, that's rude.." He cupped his fingers around his chin nervously. "Asking you what you're doing and then being secretive myself... That's really very ruuuuude.. S-Sorry..." He bowed his head, biting his bottom lip as he squinted his eyes closed.

"Sorry! I mean it!" He rose looking around. "Ah! I need to get out of here! I need to run! If I get caught.." He chewed his fingers nervously.

This guy was a tangle of emotions, really, although they weren't exactly urgent nor fierce. He liked places that didn't have much people; made his head clearer, not having emotions that you didn't own in your head. He was... frantic.

He made no resistance as the person made even more disorder with his things, stuffing them here and there. Remaining in his kneeling position, he stared for a moment, in an almost nonchalant fashion. He listened as the man... well, he looked definitely like he was older than him... well, taller than him... most people were... rambled on and on about rudeness and sorries and... yawn.

"You're hiding something, aren't you?" he said, as if it were general knowledge, titlting his head slightly as he peered at the man. He had a little smile flitting on his lips. He was... enjoying this, even if it would be... brief. He said he had to run. Hm. Run. Well, he wasn't running yet. Maybe his last remark will make him go run. Or something. He was an empath, not a psychologist, anyway.

"Okay, you need to run." Really, Santiago thought. I'm... I've just repeated what he'd been saying all along. Well... there isn't much to say.

"Ah.. H-Hiding....?" He frowned a bit, that was certainly true. He was hiding a lot of things. Probably a lot more than this person would ever know. But that was neither here nor there. "I'm not supposed to be here.... So naturally I'm hiding... And if I was found.. I might be in trouble.. I guess I'm hiding in a lot of ways.." He frowned deeply. He glanced down at the dirt. "But that's not the point.." He said stepping away form the fence and looking around. "Ah.. c'mon, let's get out of here.."

He moved away from the fenced area, purposely avoiding routes the guards would be on while all the while not betraying this by appearing as if he were aimlessly wandering around. "Er.. I think.. that way.. no.. This?" He glanced back and forth, his brow furrowing as he tried to figure out where to go from here. "I guess either is fine.." He suddenly realized something and turned to the other person. "Ah! My name is Cypriss by the way.. Cypriss Quatrain.." He grinned holding out his hand. "It's nice to meet you! Even under these er... weird.. circumstance.."

Santiago widened his little smile by a millimeter. The guy was... pretending; he knew which route to take. He accepted the hand graciously, and shook it lightly; he wasn't really a very strong person.

"My name's Santiago; just call me Santy."

It was not this Esper student's business what this guy was doing here; he looked realtively harmless, or at least, the harm he could do, he wasn't about to launch on anyone else. He was... taking pictures, that he could surmise. Perhaps a spy or a reporter or something, though he was definitely someone who knew his way around here, unlike him who was... well, wandering around.

Perhaps it was just his good luck that he still wasn't accosted by any of the sentries. He didn't like security guards. Specially the stuffy ones.

If he was a spy for the Marauders... he had heard of that... movement, though most people around here would rather call them ilk... well, he didn't feel like one. Then again, never judge a book by its cover... or its first few pages, as the case for Santiago is. Besides, the Marauders wouldn't just stay in the perimeter, they would probably try to get in...

"Lead the way." he cheerfully stated. The circumstance was not... as weird... as this Cypriss had said. He continued to smile. He was amused.

He frowned a bit and chewed on his fingernails. It was frustrating him, this person wasn't talking much. It was hard to get a read on what he was thinking if he didn't reveal anything. Oh well... Cypriss was also a student here.. .So it was possible he could relate to this person on several levels. And he had a great cover story so he had nothing to worry about as far as being discovered went... But even knowing that it was hard not to worry for the nervous types like Cypriss...

Still, he was confident that no one could hop to conclusions like the truth and when pressed he had a cover. He was a secret-freakin'-agent! He needed to be more confident in himself! Still.. if he wasn't to create suspicions that were false then he needed to redirect focus.. "So oyu go to school near here..?" He said crouching his head a bit and heading towards the perimeter of the area.

"I suppose that means you're one of ..us?" He said subtly referencing the fact that this person probably had powers/

"I just came around." said Santy, still silently cheerful. He... had yet to know the places about SEED; it had been recommended to him by those who had helped him so much, and he thought Nemea would have wanted to go. She would have also wanted him to come with her. He had yet to have a proper lesson... everything was still quite... new to him.

He... sort of knew that this guy wanted him to... not find something out. NOT find something out. Yawn. Well, he was not feeling like the cat whom curiosity tried to murder today, even though certain curiosities don't... do homicide.

This suspicious person was... nervous; and part of him liked freaking this guy off a bit. Part kind of did not like freaking the guy out, since he... was clueless at times, too, and it didn't feel all that reassuring. When you're nervous, it's not... reassuring. That's why you need something... reassuring.

"I'm an Esper, if that's what you mean." Well, that was... a straight answer, not like the ones he had provided this... easily upset guy a while ago. Maybe he would enjoy his little... diversion chat. He was trying to divert him, right? Diversions were often pretty colorful.

"Jelly juice... jelly juice..."

Eliza Scott wandered around the OASIS complex, hoping to find a vending machine that held her favorite jelly juice that she always had back home in Japan. Of course, it was too much to ask that it would also be sold here in Nova Oasis, but as she was, she didn't know that.
Mii-chin, I told you you're not going to find any of that here...
<But...>
<Why not use one of those online things?>
... I kind of doubt this is something you should order over the internet, guys.

"G-Gao..." Eliza - in this case, Misuzu - whimpered to herself, and then she flinched as if flicked on the head by a snapping finger. "Ow."
I told you not to say that... Apparently Liz mentally smacked her on the head - who knows how they do it, honestly - to admonish her.
"I guess it can't be helped... I better go back to the office and-"

Well, that train of thought was immediately stopped when she caught sight of a pair of boys walking away as she rounded the corner.
"Ah! Maybe they know where I can get some jelly juice!"
... Mii-chin, last I checked, they didn't sell-
"Hold on, you two!" she called out to them whilst flailing her arms around. "Can you boys tell me-"

WHAM.
Misuzu fell face first into the ground, apparently having slipped on something. Inwardly, the other two personae sighed and facepalmed.
"G... gao..." came Misuzu's whimper as she tried to pick herself back up.

"C-Cool.." He said genuinely, not lying at all at this point. "I haven't met many Espers.." Also true, the best lies were built on truths. But if he could avoid lying he would. This guy was no danger to him as far as he knew and Cypriss didn't particularly ENJOY misleading people without cause. "I really find espers SOOO cool... That's why I'm here.. For classes.. to meet other espers..." He was still being honest, and his honest nerdy side was showing. As he said 'soooo coool' he clenched his eyes and shook his fists as if he was about explode from how it was.

And then a girl called him and fell.

He knew the proper protocol for this.

He whipped out his camera with lightening reflexes, snapping several shots in quick succession. He spun the camera on his finger tips. "I bet something is good in those photos..." He said grinning to himself. However it was at that moment he realized he wasn't alone and in his shock his camera slipped off his finger. He jerked his knee out bouncing the camera off his knee before it fell and catching it. "I.... I'm not a pervert! I just. . . . ." He blinked. "We should go help her.." He said pointing.

He then jogged over.. 'Idiot..' It's not like most people would get his obsession with photography... And it did look a bit odd..

This guy was making Santy's little smile last for longer than usual. His antics were... most... intriguing.

Well, more people in the scene... a girl.

She... feels strange; she had more... wavelengths. Well, never mind what his secret senses were telling him right now... she needs help.

On his other companion... this guy was a real obsessive photographer. Well, maybe he was a pervert, but he doesn't... feel like one. They generally have a different sort of feel. Santy, having moved before Photographer-guy, Cypriss, had already advanced quite a few steps while he'd been... fishing his camera out of his pack with alacrity. Really. The things people do for... things. Proper protocol, huh?

He got to the girl first. He offered his hand without a word; he had the feeling she was going to ask him... something... silly... though there were conflicting messages he was getting. It was like there were three people instead of one...

"G... Gao?"

Misuzu looked up and saw the boy reach out with his hand to help her up. Not one to refuse help like that, she readily took his hand. "Th-thank you," she managed to mumble as she stood up and dusted herself off by the time Cypriss arrived on the scene. "Oh, that's right!"
With that, she dug into her pocket and pulled out what seemed to be a flattened juicebox. It had a picture of a peach on it, and it was all in kanji that Santiago (or Cypriss, for that matter) probably wouldn't understand.

"I don't suppose you know where I can get one of these, can you? They're Gooey Concentrated Peach Flavored, 100% natural Jelly Juice. They're really delicious!" Misuzu cheerily asked the two, as if really expecting either of them to know where she can get one of these things. "I'll be really grateful if you could tell me, nihahaha. I'm kind of new here in town, so I don't really know my way around. Ah, I can treat you two to this if you want~" she added.
... As if offering them that would be incentive enough.

"Come to think of it... are students even allowed near here? You might get in trouble if you got found, nihahaha," she chuckled again.

Cypriss tucked the camera into his pouch. "Cha~ So untidy.. I really can't stand it.." He said as he pulled papers around trying to establish order in his bag. However he was pulled away from this most noble of tasks by the girl herself... She seemed to be requisitioning them to find some sort of jelly juice..? It wasn't exactly clear.. Though Cypriss had at one time met someone very similar... Almost eerily soo..

"Mango flavored juice box.." The reaper said, holding out his skeletal fingers.

"........ You're not going to reap me?!"

"... Most of your injuries look survivable. Mango flavored juice box please." He said again.

".. I.. I was shot in the heart... twice..."

".. . you really wanna argue this with me..?"

"...... L-Let me go get you a mango flavored juice box, sir.."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And that was the completely unrelated to current events tale of how Cypriss had encountered a physical embodiment of death.. he thinks.. He could have just been really drugged up on medicine after the shootout during the surgery to save his life. But either way he was already wary of this person's demands for rare Japanese-based beverages. She might be the grim reaper in disguise come to extort him again! SO THAT WAS WHY THE GRIM REAPER LET HIM LIVE.
A lifetime of being extorted for asian drinks?! what kind of bastard wa-....
'Woah.. woah.. woooah... chill out Cypriss
You might be jumping to conclusions a bit here.'
'Okay.. you're definitely jumping to conclusions a bit here.'
"Er.. Sorry... Never heard of a drink like that..." 'It looks gross..' He thought, but didn't dare say for fear of offending her.
"Um..." Well, he was sort of expecting that. Really. He looked at the label... and didn't understand anything. Nihahaha? It looked Chinese... Japanese... Korean... whatever. Those drawing drawing marks they use for letters that could mean whole words... he stilll had a lot to learn. A lot. Real international environment. Nihahaha.
"I... suppose they're as... delicious as you say, but... I haven't seen them anywhere before." That was a complete sentence said to a stranger, who also happens to be female! Score. Oh, really. And peppered with lots of ellipses. Santiago, you are really the ultimate jerk towards yourself.
She was not a student? Well... she was kind of... she felt older, anyway. Well, they were... not exactly... in students' places. Nihahaha. Can't get out of the head.
"Uh... why do you keep on saying nihahaha?"
"G-Gaooo..."
Misuzu whimpered and pocketed the drink again in her skirt pocket. "<I see... maybe Rizzu-chan was right...>" she lamented quietly to herself in Japanese before addressing the two. "I see... so there's really no place to get these..."
Then the white-haired youth asked something completely strange. "Uh... why do you keep on saying nihahaha?"
The question made her audibly gasp.
... you mean he's not wondering about the "Gao" part? This kid's got strange priorities, I tell you.
<I'm surprised you haven't gone ahead and punished her for it yet.>
Kanna-chan, do you really think it would be appropriate to whack her on the head for it NOW? Besides, she's talking to someone!
<Hmmm... point taken, Eliza-dono.>
"Ehhh? Uh, well..." Misuzu kind of fidgeted in place when he asked her that, so it took her a while to respond. "I guess it's my... nervous laugh? Nihaha... hah. A-anyway, I think we should go somewhere else. I don't mind letting you guys run around here, but I'm sure the rest of the staff won't like it very much."
<Misuzu, I'm pretty sure it counts as Felony Tresspassing.>
Do you even know what that is?
<H-how rude! You talk as if I'm some kind of ignorant country bumpkin! I am the Kannabi no Mikoto, princess of the Winged Beings!>
... You've been sealed away, reincarnating and unable to move on in a cycle of death and rebirth for almost a thousand years. They didn't have felonies when you were still alive, they just killed you!
<It's the concept! The concept! I've been trying to learn about this modern age in my free time. You could at least give me some credit for it!>
Fine, fine. Oh Kanna-sama, you've been really good at applying yourself to the real world!
<... Somehow I feel even more insulted. Not to mention your crude manner of speech also reminds me of another uncouth peasant back then...>
... Well, while this exchange might have taken a while in real life, it was really no more than a flash of the moment. Misuzu then smiled sweetly at the pair of boys. "Unless, of course, you're trying to find work here or something, and just got lost."
