not a fan. i didn't even bother with angels and demons after this one. it's not fair to the sequel, but damn is this film flawed. the normal cut would be akin to the walk hard "self indulgent extended version," so this ACTUAL extended version? yeesh.

neither are great films. but as far as summer flicks go, they're smart nonsense.

they can't all be 'G.I. Joe' and 'Transformers 2', you know.

As much as I agree with Nate... I'd rather sit through this than Transformers 2 on ANY day!

Although neither are great/good, 'The Da Vinci Code' was the far superior film of the two. 'Angels & Demons', I turned off after a while. It just felt like two different films. Not much reply value for either to me.

On a positive note. At least Hanks put on a new rug for this one... His hair was approaching :birdcage: status in the first go around.

I am a fan of Hanks though. He's done some great work in the past, just nothing lately.. it happens.

Sort of like National Treasure 1 & 2. The first was ok, while two was blah.

And speaking of hair pieces. Nic Cage can run with the best of them.....or should that be worst of them.
