Lionsgate Films unleashes the 80s cult favorite 'The Monster Squad'. The Blu-ray comes with pretty good video and audio. Fans will be happy with the purchase.

You compared this movie to Howard the Duck? Hmmm...never thought I would see that happen...lol. Monster Squad was kickass...Howard the Duck was a prank George Lucas pulled. |

not compared to it, but lumped into that group of bad movies with a following. you're right, 'Howard the Duck' is horrifying, but people still love it for some reason. Even 'Little Monsters' is terrible, but there are people out there that like it. Everywhere I go and read, I find all three commonly lumped together as movies people enjoy more as part of nostalgic childhood memories than any inherent quality. Even for myself, I have fond memories of enjoying this when I was younger -- more so than I do now, unfortunately. |

Hmmm I see, The thing is I consider Monster Squad as a great, fun, and enjoyable 80's flick. Very much on par with the Goonies. Howard The Duck is only fun by watching how bad it is. Little Monsters I haven't seen that in forever I liked that one as a kid...maybe my opinion would be different now. |
