Blade Runner. No package has ever come close to it, not one. numerous cuts of the film. 5 discs. SHITLOADS of extras. all at a standard new release MSRP. best of all: regular packaging OR uber-duber packaging, not forced one way or another.

I voted for 'Blade Runner' only because of the package, liked 'Wall-E' more though, movie wise.

Wall-e is a great movie, but as mentioned by Nate there is just no release that has matched Blade Runner in terms of everything. 5 movies all in HD, plenty of extras, a great transfer on an older flick all for a low price.

Take it home Blade Runner. My reasons for voting for it can be found in previous rounds - and many of those reasons remain true here. I will also add to Nate and Iggy's comments that it was great that they released the 'MSRP' version that was an unbelievable deal that has rarely, if ever, been matched. However, it also had the Ultimate Collector's Edition as well for those who wanted it.

Most of all, you didn't have to travel between Wal-Mart/Target/Amazon/Best-Buy/Etc. to get the version you wanted as both versions could be found just about everywhere without any difference between them. This allowed not only for better prices due to competition between resellers, but also greater availability of an amazing piece of work I truly feel is worth owning. Ever since it's release, it has been one of my favorite releases on either format... and I still own it on both ;).

ETA: Yes, that was a rip on WB's handling of The Wizard of Oz and it's numerous retailer-exclusive editions!

I wonder what would happen it the winner (assuming it's Blade Runner) went into a exhibition round against Wizard of Oz... or will we need to wait until next year to find out the results of such a match up?
