After the Factions sticky the next logical step is a sticky thread for your characters. After all nearly every post apoc movie has a lone character who usually saves the day. This thread is a simliar style to the faction one.The rules are as follows: 1. Write some blurb about the Character, origin/conversion of the mini and what/who inspired this character. 2. No more than 1 post reply per character (so if you have a side kick put a separate post up for the sidekick). 3. A picture of the character should be included. 4. No more than 2 pictures of the character to be included in the post. 5. If you change the character and want to update the thread then edit your original post and change text/pics as desired. Have fun and I look forward to seeing your characters! |

I will get the ball rolling.... Introducing Gordo Looseman. ![]() Gordo hangs around in Wasteland bars telling tales of his adventures (not all of them are tall tales). When not in bars this hardened adventurer is to be found wandering the wastelands, searching ruins and getting into fights. If there is a mutant beastie that needs handelling - often Gordo will step up. He is equipped in a home made NBC suit which may have once been some NBC armoured suit so he is equipped for most conditions the wastelands has to offer. Hanging at his side is a heavy SMG. If you are faced with a mutant beast you want something to take it down quickly right? The figure is a Horrorclix frogman mini (I am not sure what it is called) rebased and painted orange. The suit colour is inspired by scientific NCB/Rad Haz suits found both in industry and the STALKER pc game. His name is ins[ired by another famous hero scientist from computer games - Dr Gordon Freeman from the Half Life games (who also turns up in STALKER!).

![]() Introducing Sammi D'cup. Also known as the Bunker Survivor, Thirteen or the Wasteland Wanderer, Sammi is the last survivor of SOS bunker 13. Sammi was sent on a scavenging mission for vital parts. Upon her return to bunker 13 she found it had been breached and everyone was dead. All things of value had also been stripped form the bunker. It is uncertain who is responsible for the attack although Raiders have been ruled out as they could not take a bunker. Sammi suspects that Claw Company mercenaries or ORCs where responsible for the attack. She wanders the wastelands trying to find the answer to who and why her home was attacked. The mini is a heroclix hero repainted as a fallout vaultie. Its mask was turned into goggles (very practicle wasteland apparel) and a pistol and knife were added from my bitsbox. Sammi D'cup is inspired by the Fallout 3 game. |

![]() Ma & PA Fogherty Ma & Pa work a small farm in the hills west of town. Quite folk, they tend to keep themselves to themselves. They rasied 7 boys of their own, 4 went into the army, and the rest became farmers. Immediately after the War, there were a heeluva lot of orphans. The Fogherty's opened their doors, figuring that they'd rasied enoguh kids to be able to handle 'em all. And they did. Most of town has spent some time at the Fogherty's, either when their parents have been sick, or whilst visiting friends, and so being called Ma & Pa sort of stuck |

![]() Karlos D. Ramirez aka. 'Karl' Born to a small, nondescript agricultural community, Karlos Diego Ramirez grew up the son of an impoverished farmer and field laborer, though no-one there would have been 'Well Off', by any sense of the phrase. His formative years were filled with tilling earth, tending the lizards, and occasionally aiding in hunts, normally for pesky wolves, or the very rare pack of Bark Scorpions. In his 17th year, the village was wiped off of the map by a large mobilization of... *The page becomes nearly unreadable, with the word 'Empire' being barely visible.*... With nothing left to turn back to, he squared his shoulders, and walked into the howling, irradiated wasteland. Three years later, he takes part in the depraved activities of a feared group of bandits, hitting caravans, and terrorizing settlements all throughout the region. *Most of the writing after this is illegible, grime and age have taken their toll on this old book's pages.* In his late 30's, Karl underwent a change of priorities, and began acting as a mercenary, and caravan guard. His success was likely due to his knowledge of the land, and the typical 'tactics' the local banditry used. He gradually gravitated more and more towards mercenary work, becoming a feared Bounty Hunter, and a semi-famous treasure-seeker. If you need someone killed, someone protected, or something found, you need to find Karl. If he can't, or isn't willing to do it, he knows the people who can. |

Introducing a famous hero of the Matt Black Wastelands - Mad Dan. Mad Dan was born in the shanties that straddled the new Brittianna bunker city. He learnt a skill as a electrical and mechanical fixer. At13 he served with the Brittaina Light Infanty Company as a conscript. ![]() ![]() ![]() At 17 he had enough of serving the city and deserted. He joined a mobile raiders gang and rode with them for a few years. At 21 his gang was ambushed by the cities forces and only Mad Dan escaped alive. Wounded he fled north and spent time with the Pictise tribesmen. Some time later he drifted south again and his adventures are recorded in many places. Sqeueena, North Port, Militon Hole and Scav City all have tales of his exploits. He came to settle in Liberty City. After a couple of years he met a lady and they and there adopted daughter moved to Freedomville for some fresh air. The mini is a EM4 grenadier biker. He has had the machine pistol removed and a spanner added. The character and mini are based on me at that time. I thought as I was making a parody of the place I worked I might as well make one of me. Even his tattoos look like mine. |

Introducing the Furrygothmother. This psiker was a Liberty city gal born and bred. One day she met Mad Dan and the pair of them hit it off. There are many stories involving the pair saving the city. ![]() Tales tell that her bodice is made from the fur of some strange mutant beast that tried to eat her once. FGM moved to Freedomville with Mad Dan and thier adopted daughter "Wee Katy". I cant remember what make the mini is. All I know is it a dark elf scourceress. The mini had a pright pink furry bodice added. Some people rumour that this mini is based on Furrygothmother on these pages..... |

Introducing Queen Floozy. Queen Floozy is the gang leader of the Fatal Floozys (all girl) street gang. The gang's turf is the ruined city not far from the Brittannia bunker city. The ruins have been proclaimed as Neu-London by the bunker despite the fact there was never a city called that on MBW. ![]() ![]() The ruins are very perilous. Ratmen/Vermen, Slaggers, Grots, Roachmen and raiders (often looking to capture FF members) are daily problems. The gang is also at war with Brittannia as they have proclaimed the city to be theirs. The mini is a GW WHFB Amazon with a SMG added. |

Meet Tin Kan Alec. ![]() TKA started as the store security and extra muscle for Baron Freedom and Sherrif Dredd of Freedomville. TKA is now head honcho in Freedomville after the infamous three day brawl to decide who was going to replace the late Baron Freedom. He is quick to act and has kept his town safe from raiders. Although some might say the presence of two great heros in the town might have done that! The mini is a Blacktree Fantasy foot ball human painted in rusty colours. He had a heavy pistol and base ball bat added. |

"Where is the bloody Flapjacks? Who has got the Flapjacks?" is often a call heard from the ruins of the old world industrial estates around Scav Town. Flapjack is a denzien of the town and is obsessed with the fairly rare oaty cake bars. It is rumoured that the Pictsies tribesmen live on them, and Flapjack is thinking about moving North to get closer to his favorite food. ![]() ![]() Flapjack is a GW Neromunda Scum/hired gun. I replaced the dum looking plasma gun with a plastic junkers Shotgun. |
