We went to see Nick Cave last night - it was a bloody good gig (any Nick Cave fans on here?). I recommend. I found interesting to see the mix of folks there. Metal heads, old bikers, goths, goth chicks, rock chicks, accountants, foreign students, middle aged house wives, goth chicks, rock chicks, average joes, granddads, old crusty gits, goth chicks, rock chicks.  A real mix - but then Nick Cave's music doesnt really fit into any genre. It was worth going just to seethe antics of the violin player who looks like Rasputin's hairier, more insane little brother - this guy rolls about like a demented hamster with out the big plastic ball! We arrived when the support was playing. I have no idea who they where but all I can say is that they sucked. In all a good night. |
