More good stuff as ever. Really liking the Renegade both on and off the bike. Those "Anal Field Whiners" scavs are quite interesting, I never got to see those sculpts up close and they do have a lot of personality. |

Those BB ghouls are quite cheap too, Amazon miniatures still carries them. They are true 28mm size and tend to look scrawny which is good for starved half mad post apocalyptic ghouls. ps for those that dont know BB is set 5 years after a asteroid strike destroys most of the world and 95% of the human population. The ghouls have yet to reach the nasties in Fallout or most of our settings. |

Someplaces in the Wastes have managed to get some old robots working....here we see a typical wasteland town guardian. ![]() "Well.come..to..Bog.Town....I.AM.THE.LAW...." The mini is a robot cowboy from the Golgo Island line. The right arm snapped clean in two when I was cleaning it up for painting. So I made a replacement upper arm from greenstuff. I think the wonky arm look lends it a certain Post Apoc patched up feel. Professor of Robotics and cybercentic organisms, Dr Spitt (or Proff Spitt to his fiends, old gob face to everyone else) was called to the Robocom corporation private bunker. He wasnt too happy. The others had been talking behind his back and claimed he was insane. INSANE?? HIM?? He will show them!!! The bunker was stocked with Robots, parts, a small production facility, a FEV facility, breeding tanks, Cybernetic parts, cybernetic labs, Nanotech labs, Nanotech stores, weapons, high tech vehicles (including military grade ones) and enough stuff to keep a small town ticking over in a disaster zone for a century. Not to mention the valuables (probably worthless now) in the vault. In short enough stuff to ensure the Robocom's survival and restart after things had settled down. So he re-programmed his Cryro Chamber to wake him up 6 months earlier than the other staff in the centre. When he awoke and had recovered he re-programmed the bunker's computer system to do his bidding and set the rest of the staff to sleep until he decided he had a use for them. Except for Anderson...he always wanted his office....he defrosted him and after lashing him to the experiment table....slowly chopped him to pieces whilst concious. I dont know why they thought the Proff was insane... The second thing he did was reprogram the EGORs (Enhanced General Operational Robot) which looked after the facility to become his personal servants. Here is the Proff test driving them... ![]() The Robots and Doctor Spitt are rebased clix minis with no extra paints. The Proff needs his base doing. Thats up next. The Proff is currently defrosting staff one at a time, at his leisure to experiment on. To follow soon....Spitt's guardien's - big mean combat robots. |

A bit of a robot theme today. I like the knackered junk looking paintjob on robo cowboy, and little professor stooped over his cane. |

Thanks - he is going to be my Evil Mad Scientist of the wastelands. Who knows what loony stuff he will get up too? I have pushed on with the Doc n Bots due to the tunnel terrain I am making. I can see these rooms being filled with all sorts of odd gizmos the Proff has built. I guess I am inserting more pulpy elements to my setting for fun purposes. |

Not much in the way of minis has been done thanks to real life and the tunnel terrain project. But I have got these few done.![]() Here we see Lurch (on the right) pictured next to Acer (for sizeing purposes). These guys run with Fast Eddie's crew who are based in the depressing ruins up in the Scav Lands. Lurch was a rubber 45mm lord of the rings Half Orc. I got him cheap (50p) and repainted him. I decided that the crossbow was too fantasy looking so he got a autocannon which he wields like a rifle. Doc Spitt has been tinkering in the bunker's robotics rooms and has reprogrammed these beauties. The Doc now had his Protectorons. ![]() The figures are Heroscape space figures. No idea what they are called, sorry. They got a new paint job. Now the Doc is set for causing a bit of mayhem in the Wastelands.... ![]() Here is a group shot of his forces. |

I like the big mean half orc, made even meaner with that big gun. Those protectrons are nice too, they look like an upgraded hi tech model to the Fallout ones. |

Very nice stuff. I love robots. Lurch is brilliant. It's great to have a source of ideas like this. It helps me make up for my complete lack of creativity. |

Thanks for the comments. Its all about using what cheap figure I can get and seeing a potential. Doc Spitt is from the Horrorclix line but I cant remember his name. Just put "Clix Doctor" or "Clix Professor" into ebay and it should flag up if there are any about. |

The people of the confederacy Wastelands speak of a strange Mutant Psyker "Witch" who lives in the semi frozen wastes to the North. They say she has a machine that hauls her salvage. This machine also protects her. The more superstitious say the machine is powered by the souls she has captured....![]() The minis are Warmachine Khador Witch and Skrapjack. Just a word to the wise these models are a nightmare to assemble. Pin the buggers before you start and save time. Apologies for the blurry picture. Edited by mattblackgod, Jul 11 2010, 06:23 PM.

The ruins of the world capitol - Matt Black City, and the surrounding lands are so contaminated by the war that only mutants can survive there. Trapped under the city, in its rail tunnels and sewers the survivors struggle to hang on. Only the brave Stalkers go up top to scavenge the highly toxic ruins for anything that will help the people below the city survive. ![]() Stalkers - are a special type of scavenger that are equipped to go into the toxic places. These Stalkers have home made NBC suits. The minis are Horrorclix Frogmen repainted. The guy in the middle has a mini gun from EM4. |

I like the heavy weapon conversion. This may sound odd since I'm meant to be looking at the minis (which are great by the way) but what is that rusting metal wall in the background? Is that bought or home made? |
