Yeah, these guys are great. I like the duel wielding rodents. And a great boss with the toothy grin.

Got to admit I do like them. Had them for years and never got around to painting them. I have some plastic Skaven someplace that will be used to add more muscle to the Vermen forces. They need a couple of heavies at least.

I do like those Vermen. I know there's a metal skaven carrying what looks like a minigun (or whatever passes for a minigun in ye olde Warhammer universe) available, and I've been tempted to get one to use as a heavily armed PA mutant.

did you convert some of them? I demeber there being one with a sword, and one with a claw, and one or two with single medium sized rifle/shotgun weapons. There also the 3 hulkers ( big claw glove and smg, minigun, and machine gun) there were 6 sculpts of half sized "broodlings" or something like that too. I wonder whatever happened to those molds.

Someone bought the molds and has produced a few of the minis. More info can be obtained from the War Engine yahoo group. Banana Tyrant posted a link to it in his recent Gangs of Golgoville topic.

I managed to get a bunch of stuff recently from the original owner (Aaron Stover?). He has lots of leftovers. He's very friendly and helpful if you have the patience to let him sort it out in his free time.

I know the minigun-toting rat you're talking about, I think.

Hard to forget a mini line with an armored tractor complete with overweight redneck hunched over the column!
(I mean that in the best way. Character, man! -CHARACTER-!)

I wasn't too sure where to put this fella....

On Mattblack's world they thought it would be fun for kiddies to be taught by fun looking droids. This is one surviving example (and possibly the only surviving example) of such a droid - in this the Roboturtle.

Posted Image

These droids would have massive amounts of learning loaded into them. Language, maths, science, history and more. They are wanted as they can be a big help to anyone who fixes stuff or who just wants an education. The red dome on the shell is its holo projector.

Posted Image
This example survived (so it says) because its huge armoured shell protected it from the end. Dont ask too much about those times as the Roboturtle gets upset (muttering "The children, the children, dead" over and over) and can shut down for a time. This may be the first example of a machine with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

Profile of the Roboturtle.

I made this up from a Navida Danph peice and it is going to be used as a objective. Just one that talks and walks. :D

Introducing Dr Burner.

Posted Image

Before the war a lab on Mattblack's world tried out a new machine - the mini worm hole generator. It allowed people to travel through time and space instantly. So a team went back to a test location....1860's North America. They abducted Dr Burner here and kept him locked up as a test subject.

Sadly the machine required massive amounts of power and the corporation responsible kept it shut down. Burner was shipped to another lab where he caused trouble once he realised he wasn't going mad and was far in the future half a galaxy away from "home".

He caused so much trouble that they sealed him in a Cryro sleep chamber in one of the Corporation's vaults. A week later the war started and the wormhole machine was destroyed during a raid by another corporation. A year later the Orbital Nuclear bombardment of MBW began.

Two years ago the plasma generator for the vault failed and the emergency wake up procedure kicked in. The Doc was revived. After a few days he wandered out of the Vault with his trusty Le-Matt black powder pistol into the nightmare world that awaited him.

The Doc thought he was insane and living in a night mare for some weeks until he came to a town. They told him of the war and the world's destruction. Lost in time and space the Doc wanders the wastes hoping to find the facility that might be able to send him home despite knowing that it is no more than a ruin.

Mini unknown - paintjob Xander/V.Lazy Dragon.

I wish I still had all my navia dratp pieces, the game was ok from what I remember but it did have some nifty off the wall figures. I absolutely love the stories you give your figures.

Thanks. The Roboturtle (a non combatant and pacifist by the way) is all my own work. I forgot to mention that he is loaded with maps of MBW from before the war....many interested parties would like that information so they can loot lost places. The rest of the navid drapt figures are going to become mutants and other Large critters for my world.

The Doc is inspired by a character (Doc Tanner) from James Axler's Deathlands series. Being a Doctor in the Victorian age, means he is a gentleman (even if he is an ex colonial!...*ducks waiting for the abuse* :D ) and tends to get into a lot of trouble when he see's women or children abused. Or unsporting behaviour. Of course his revolver might be a black powder weapon but it holds 9 shots and has a grape shot (think sawn off shot gun) barrel. The Doc likes to squeeze off 6 shots like a standard revolver then waits as a cocky wastelander rushes the old man ....then they get a nasty surprise. He does from time to time sport more up to date weapons too. I am thinking of teaming him up with one of my other wasteland crews as this old guy is going to have it hard alone.

Raiders and gangs are everywhere. Watch your back when you wander the wastelands.

Minis GW muscled meat head Nercomunda (Orlocks) painted by Xander/V. Lazy Dragon.

Mercenaries are everywhere. The Wastelands are a harsh place and you have to struggle to survive. So you might as well make some loot out of it! Mercs are hired by anyone who can pay as protection or to do those nasty jobs such as removing those lumps from the duvet of life!

Minis painted by Xander/V.Lazy Dragon and seem to be modified Catchain plastics.

Life is hard in the wastelands but some scratch a living tending their flocks like this shepherd of Dungers. Mini is made from various GW plastics- painted by me! :D

More cool stuff as always. Particularly like the converted shepherd, even if that pink jacket's a bit of a target out in the wastes.

The overmuscled beef bags with the spiky armour were Goliaths in Necro. They actually look pretty cool bald with the big mohawks shaved off.
