Well it 's not exactly 'mini's' but I did not know where to put this one...
A cheap plastic fantasy dino but he looks a bit very much dead.
Maybe he died of cut off tail ?

Posted Image

So I thought to operate on this specimen cause he 's such a perfect cliché example of a genetic mutant having two heads. For this reason I found him worthwhile saving for my P.A. world.

Posted Image

At this stage I used mainly hot glue to fill up the gaps, restore his tail, and give hime (weird) teeth and longer nails.

Posted Image

Then I finished off with a thin layer of green stuff (forgot to fotograf but you all know what it looks like, it' s green)

It was one of the first times I worked with this stuff. Not easy and smaller or more detailled then this I won't even try.

Wait till the mat black is dry and then the dreaded painting... not a clue...yet...

Got it, partly, painted.

The spots I missed are there because I did not have the patience for the spray paint to dry.

Next, giving the monster some non-player-rules so I can incorporated him in my game.
Any suggestions ?

As good a looking two headed creature as I have ever seen :)

Non-player-rules? Five attacks, two heads, two claw, and a tail. I would give it a slow speed due to two heads needing to make a decision on the direction it might want to travel.

Looks good. Nice Conversion and painting. I need to try Green Stuff myself I tend to use Milliput mostly. Got some conversions to do where milliput isn't going to get the detail I need to.

Yow Brummie,

I've read about this 'Miliput' but have not come across it in a shop.
I hear it's cheaper than green stuff (which I find expensive) but more difficult to sculpt details ?

I googled: 'mutated animal', boy some disturbing pictures came up... guess I'll stick to the 'comic/pulp' version.
Don 't want them over the top either, more simple/cliché like following...a 2-headed flying serpent

Posted Image

But I choose not to make this one, because I already made a two headed monster, + seemed a shame to cut up 3 perfect toys.
Then I found these pieces ...

Posted Image

Put some iron wire in it, fixed with hot glue.

Posted Image

Just finished the easy part, making everything a bit thicker, again using hot glue.

Now for the greenstuff...

Thanks for the tips on 'monster rules'. I like the ideas and will try them out.

That's how far I got this evening.

Sure is sticky stuff this green stuff, like sculpting with chewing gum.
Did his arms still have to do the tail and neck.
Next time I start some earlier cause it seems that now it is thick enough to be sculpted somewhat easier.
But time to go to bed now, have to look sharp cause...

don 't know if I can work on it much upcoming days...
The reason: I'm getting married on Friday !
(about time after more then 30 years :wubwu: )

Yeey !

Thanks, I wanted to marry her for so long but alway there where practical problems.
We'll keep the wedding very private. Just me, my future wife and the kids.
My wife has a very big family so sorting out the wedding party invitations was to complicated so we plan to tell and party later on.
Got my hair cut, suit is ready, restaurant and hotel (for the wedding night) booked, so I had some spare time and finished the green stuff.
Check it out.

Wow, great work. Someone said that using a spot of hand cream helps with the stickiness of green stuff.

Congratulations, I hope you both have a wonderful day and a long happy life together.

Just let me get my ceremonial head dress an I am ready to officiate! :witchdr: :witchdr:

Thanks for the wishes and the honor of the ceremonial head dress and for the green-stuff-tip MBG,

i also found out that the warmth of my hands makes the stuff more sticky, so I should not keep it in my hands to long.
Here 's an other one.

I only had the Pterodactyl's body (used in the previous monster) and head left, other parts got lost.

So I'm using the head now, nicely sculpted actually.

Not much to say on the build, the spikes, you probably recognized, is a piece of plastic x-mas tree.

Thanks for the wishes and the feedback guy's, appreciate it.
i let my wife read your wishes and she commented: "Can you tell them it's very sweet of them, or are they to macho for a compliment like that ?"

Anyway wedding or not, I already squeezed in some monster pre-production.

These are the parts I'm toying with.
The sea animals (lobsters e.o.) came in a bag of 40, or so, pieces. These are the only ones left.
a snap together turtle, a bottom jaw of a T-rex (what happened to the rest ???) And a winde-up scarabee.

Think I'll go for something like this sketch.

The top one, the most freaky one, is missing a leg (and wings and head, but I don't need those).
So sculpting this missing leg should be the challenge of this build. I probably will also be adding some more teeth to this one.

You might have noticed I haven't painted anything since the first one, I'm out off matt black.
