Posts: 794 Group: Members Member #511 Joined: Sep 5, 2012	cheers for your comments guy's ............ and Crazy joe so will i! so next up i gave the model a got coat of PVA glue to seal the joints and then a 'wrap' of paper in places to give a good start to the 'rough' Armour look, my PVA of choice is the thinner'ish PVA from B&Q it's pretty thin to start so i don't need to add much water. cheers AL Edited by london1662, Mar 4 2017, 10:55 PM.

'M' you Sir do not miss a trick (and thanks for the links) you're right Tamiya do some nice 1/16th figures especially the BUNDESWEHR (Modern German) tank crew ................... However my Good friend.............. meet my new little friends! the wider choice of 1/18th scale (3.3/4" - 4") ............. with only little work and a new paint job expect to see more figiure with the builds.......... however ...... not this one! but lots of plans for the coming year........... oh yea! Posts: 794 Group: Members Member #511 Joined: Sep 5, 2012	'M' ....... i'm having a good look around before i buy, some i will try to get the best price for due to their the better ones for the look ie game of thrones has some really good ones, would make great 'Wasteland Warriors' ........... plus i know you will be digging around for some good ones and bring them to my attention ! So update time, most of the hull is now done i'm going to put another thin coat of PVA this time mixed with some gravel and other bits to give a rough'er texture to the Armour. cheers AL ................ I share your pain my friend .... i share your pain ........ .. and on another note a further update ............. the hull is now in primer and of course it's a Halford's primer ...... now a couple of things need adjusting, has i've noticed a armour plate missing from the front and the 'TRENCH' around where the turret ring will go is too deep now i've painted it!... that's why a primer stage helps! so i'll filll that a bit with foamboard. cheers AL

Didn't know about them! ...... Interesting?..... but the normal 3-4inch plastic one's just like the star wars one..... However I've now seen 'larger' one's..... I think there like 7"? they seem really detailed.... Maybe I'll try and convert one to a stand alone PA figure? What you think....... cheers AL
