Y'all,

I sometimes wonder why I even waste your time. I don't contribute to the group outsides the occasional utterance.

That is not to say that ideas of adventures in a radioactive, post invasion, Greenhouse gases run amok scenarios don't filter they're way out of my mind....

I problem is I worry to damn much about details and not enough on the fun.

Too worried about you guys and gals opinions are of me.

I just need to throw down some miniatures, a a board and have 'em fight out the water rights in "Hot Springs" via solo effort... Then the loosers just won't settle on how thing s came out and run the whole thing again.

Please, give me feedback

Hey Tinker ol' bud, don't stress on it too much mate. I heartily agree you should just throw caution to the wind and 'game it up' a bit. Don't worry about story lines, campaigns, or anything like that, you'll probably find stories write themselves as you play!

As for your contribution.... I for one am glad to have it!!

While this forum was built (correct me if I'm wrong Dan) mainly for miniature gaming in a PA environment, as long as you enjoy PA in some form I think this place is for you.

I mean we have a good section for PA in other media forms (RPG probably the only one we don't) like books comics and movies. This place is all about the PA baby!

Plus we've got the Modern, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi sections so we can, as mates form across the globe, keep tabs on each other, share each others eyes and ideas on these 'side projects.'

Dude, I for one was surprised and glad when you jumped on here and am still glad you're posting (along with the others who contribute to this place).

Keep it up man :)

Oh, 'Lost in America'.... just don't take a Wrong Turn.... those mutant hillbilly's are hard to kill :D

Tinker - I'm one of the founding members of this 'ere forumn, and I seldom post much PA stuff - so don't worry about the lack of postage/playage! Your comments are always welcome in my book.

As for the whole realism thing... I'm a nuclear chemist, who works part time for one of the UKs major decommssioining companies and I know (as well as anyone is likely to!) what a PA setting would be like.... But that doesn't stop me getting into the 'PA media' spirit of mutant psykers & electro-kantanas, etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is - in Rosses words - 'game it up a bit', and in the words of Howard Whitehouse "Don't sweat the details"...

Yeah - it doesnt matter what you have or play. Even if you have some plastic army men and some boxes on a table cloth.

This forum exists for us to draw inspiration from each other, bang ideas about and have some fun. Thats why I looked to setting it up. Like most forums there is only around 12% on here who are active. Your comments are always welcome - no matter how trival.

Dont worry about ideas for your background or whatever. Most of ours are pinched. For instance my Junkers Crew was part inspired by Scarpias Worlds Space Orks vehicles Orks Stuff and the Junkers faction from the Freelancer space game. Just mix up what you have - even garnish it with stuff from your own life (Boss pissing you off - base a character mini or gang on him/her). If you get stuck for ideas tap us - thats what we are here for. No idea is original (we should tell that to GW).

As for games - I get about 5 to 6 in a year and I often solo game. I am sure there are others who get even less games in.

Dont worry about off topic comments - want to see a topic get lost? Just say "Mila" when Ross is about! :D Go on try it and see what happens! :D

Have fun mate! You are one of us, this board exists for you and anyone like you!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, they are needed. It's easy to become overwhelmed and discouraged...
