Here are some of the many many many half finished terrain for Mattblackgod's world. First up is a old jeep - a metal toy I got from a cheapo store. It has had the good bits removed and been bashed with a big hammer. A quick spray of black for that burnt out look. Needs more rust and dirt. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/jeep1.jpg Concrete pipes litter industrial sites. These are some plastic inners from some paper rolls. Glue in a stack and painted with Mad Dans home made textured paint. Hmmmm. Nice. They need a bit of drybrushing and washing. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/concretepipes.jpg Do you always roll too much putty when converting minis? What to do with spare green stuff? I make freaki fungi for my wastelands. Roll the stem and let the putty harden a bit. Then twist it. Stick to a base. Get some more putty and make the cap (flat disc). Let it all dry. Superglue the cap to the stem. Hmmmmm - freaki! http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/Freakifungi1.jpg He looks like a Fun Guy to be with!

Not a problem! I take it you mean the model not the joke! I was making bags and sacks with the spare stuff - but at least this way yo get some proper terrain. Handy for both your wastelands and SG2 stuff! I did attempt making pumpkins but failed miserably. Anyone know how to make pumpkins? Mine always end up looking like a splodge.

One thing I have been promising to make for my wasteland settlements is a well. This is one for PGC! Its a CD base and DAS putty. The beams are plastic I beams.![]() ![]() ![]() It needs a cross beam and a bucket and chain. I am not sure if I should put a wooden cover on it like the wells in Fallout. I had some bits left over from a GW plastic jungle tree set so I made this.

Nice additions dude! One thing I've been struggling with is appropriate foliage for the wastes. I didn't think the GW plastic plants would work, but I think they just might after seeing that. |

If you keep them short and stunded it would work. Paint them garish colours too.

Just some bits on the boil at the moment. ![]() Some WIP of stash/loot markers. ![]() ![]() Pics of my basic Bellcannon (I stuck them here as there isnt a weapons of mess destruction section!). A poor mans basic claymore mine and its similar to IDEs in some respects. The model is a oil drum cut up and buried under miliiput. It needes more paint and some sort of detonation lead from the back. These tend to be remote fired as there is a good chance the thing will just explode rather than firing your unwanted items at the invaders. This can only be fired once during a game. ![]() ![]() This is my portable Bellcannon. This weapon is made from some sort of scrounged cylinder mounted on half a vehicle chassis. Due to the items its made from there is less chance of it exploding on you. This can be fired only once during a game. ![]() ![]() This is a similar idea to the others but this bell cannon has a smaller spread and damage effects. What it does have is six barrels and can fire six times during a game. It is made from the other half of the chassis. The ends of the tubes are welded up. ![]() Here we can see the firing arrangment. CnC welcome. |

Here is a Bunker city automated gun tower. ![]() Multiple heavy machine guns for spraying those pesky mutie hordes.... ![]() And a Auto Cannon for those heavily armoured monsters. The weapons and control arm are from a Robogear kit and the base is a humble plastic bottle top. |

Ruins are good. I like the pasted on posters. And i love the Bunker gun. That is going to vaporise any fleshy thing it sees, and vehicles would be muchroom clouds. Yeah! They look like very old GW guns. |
