Thank you. I was thinking of using the cultists as a cult in France. See the guy to the right. I call him "frenchy" cos the colour of his mask. The main background of the world is pa Europe, I got ideas for that but not on all gangs yet. I don't have any idea for the robots yet, Don't really see them fit in right now. The scavvy boss and the genestealers as mutants of course. The orlock and the others will probably be nomads, hunters and scavengers. And the ratskins will be a tribe in the wastelands, I really like those guys. |

Thanks. Here are some punks I finished last week. Now im working on some viridian commandos from the game void 1.1, to have as a paramilitary faction. When I was cleaning my basement a couple weeks ago I stumble on something of a gold mine. I found a whole bag full of my old cars. I think they seem overall a bit small but im not picky. So on the last pic you see far to the right a new 1:48 scale (it should be from what I understand) and the other 2 are of my old ones I found. Most of them are this seize, a bit small to the new one. I put the figs in there to have something to measure against. What do you say are they too small?

Very cool. I would invest in some of GW's washes though as they will help with shading and make some of the detail pop more

Good work so far. The car on far left is way too small. The other two are okay to my eye. I go by the height. A typical car would come up to around chest/arm pit level on a average sized person. Some up to neck height. Some MPVs, 4x4 and off roaders are usually about head height or a little higher. I take a mini when vehicle shopping to do a comparison. I have to remember that there is often a base of 4 to 5mm on the figure which adds height. Edited by mattblackgod, Aug 20 2016, 03:02 PM.

now I am done with the viridian commandos. It took a while cos I don't have that much time for painting now. The guy with the helmet is the first time I have tried dry painting. It didn't turn out exactly as I was thinking, his plates should be rusty which they don't look. See if I can get it better in the future. Edited by mr wasteland, Oct 10 2017, 01:57 PM.

Looking good. The plates look like they are lightly rusted. Maybe try orange and brown washes on them to make them look more rusty? |

Ok something i maybye try. Thanks mattblackgod. From one thing to Another when i looked at the girl in the gang now, With that hair color she remindes me of the girl in the movie fifth elment. What was her name leeloo? |
