A truly awesome name for an awesome range.... I really must make another eureka order at some point, but it may have to wait until they release Beowulf et al (unless they already have and I missed it?)

Hmm... I've been eying those off too. Damn, Nic seems to be getting far too much of my pay check these days.

Back from holidays, stress free, another week off awaiting this one, potential job interview next week to fix the shitty job I'm in, kids off at their grandparents..... time for some modeling methinks!!

Cleaned and half based the Dust Devils outrider bikes:

Also cleaned and half based some Skelebots and a Warzone oriental mini:

Half based as in they still need dirt glued on, but they've been puttied around their original bases.
The Skelebots will go to the Winter Knight force, the guy with the mini-gun will form part of a three person Yakuza hit squad.

Nice so far. I like the bike bases. Who makes the skelebots?

The Skellebots are from (and I may be wrong here.... it does happen... all too frequently...) RAFM in conjunction with Palladium for their Rifts line..... maybe. I know they're Rifts models, I only assume it's rafm who produced them.

Oh yeah looking really nice!

Dirt bikes to me are definitely PA... I can't see a "Gold Wing", or a "crotch rocket" running the beaten up terrain a wasteland would have to offer. Choppers of the Biker Gangs aren't designed for "off road" either.

Plus the sound of dirt bikes really suits the wasteland I think, that high tinny sound as compared to the rumbling "put put" of a chopper or road bike.

Those Bikes are really nice. Is there any plans to dirty them up a bit?

Yeah choppers would suck in the wastes. Too low and unstable low speed operation. The crotch rockets might be usesful but the large amounts of revs and power combined with a short wheel base would spit you off. Besides high tech engines will be fine until they need parts.

Trailies and motor X are much better of the wastelands (or even a roadster). But those motors can go into a large trialy frame. A hog motor (or old brit vertical twin) is better on loose dirt than a tuned Jap motor. Something to do with the uneven power pulses helping the rear wheel dig into the dirt. It will just be a total bitch to pick up if you drop it.

Sorry - I will take my bike builder/rider head off now.

All dirtied up man, which I must admit was a bit of a shame. I'll take a PIP shot in a few minutes...

Trailies...
Are those the four wheelers? Here in the states we call 'em just ATV's... One thought about these bikes in the wastelands is that they can fit in a trailer or the back of a truck for transport wherever and they'd be very easy to fix with that support vehicle there.

Dirt bikes? Don't rightly know, I've never been into the bike scene nor hung around people that are.
