I finally painted a couple of PA figs, two Reaper heroes/survivors that I got a couple of Christmases ago. They will be added to my scavengers.

Posted Image

I also posted some pix of my older scavs, mostly Copplestone figs on my blog.

More Scavengers

Hopefully this will be the start of a bunch of PA progress. Only time will tell.

Those look really wonderful. Isn't the fellow "NOT" Doc Savage? (Maybe he is Doc Scavenge!!)

Thanks, I appreciate the kind comments.

I have a number of other factions under way or even table worthy:

The Territorial Guard (Doggie's Men), the old GW IG that I linked here awhile back. A sort of national guard built from a confederation of rebuilding cities.

Towns People/Town Defense- unarmed victims and armed civilians to protect "the town", when the Territorial Guard isn't around.

Bikers - At this point, un-named and too small to matter yet, a band of rogue outlaws that do and take as they want.

The Girls - A "reformed" madam and a group of tough former working girls, who have mostly moved on to other business in the wastes.

Fly - An inner city sort of gang that partakes in both lawful and unlawful business as they choose.

Zolton Grupp - An old school sort of "boss" and his boys, who has adapted to his new environment.

The Punks - Another small and currently un-named gang with too few figs of a "punk" style.

Eastern Federals - or "Fedees", these are organized military forces from the old government and based somewhere in the Eastern part of North America. Occasionally they show up on various mission on behalf of the old government. Sometimes friend, sometimes enemy; they can be well equipped at times, and in desperate shape other times.

The Corporate Army - Very high tech and dangerous, but with limited resources. Based out of an underground military research lab and development facility, a self contained weapons building complex. They are a composite of the old commercial military industry and some old government political types, who claim to carry proper governmental authority, and are bent on re-unifying a nation under their control.

The Abby - An institution of God, protecting the way, knowledge, and truth in a fortified church and grounds.

The Brotherhood of Cleansing - A gathering of those directed by a higher calling to cleans the world of that which plagues the land. Sometimes associated with, but never completely homogenous with The Abby.

Greenies - (Repurposed GW space orks) A mutated weapons project, aimed at creating a hybrid plant/animal soldier with greater strength, endurance, resourcefulness than normal humans. The lab where they were being developed had a problem during the apocalyptic event, they have mutated and rapidly evolved into a ... burden.

The leper Colony - a collection of outcasts, some mutants, some not, that subsists and interacts at varying levels with those around them.

The Hermit - Rumored to be a genius, a lumatic, or a magician, among other things. A lone old man, that somehow survives alone in his mesa-top dwelling. He avoided by most and feared by many.

Aliens - It is rumored that the end was brought about by alien invaders, but the truth is that man did it to himself. However, the echo of what happened on Earth has been heard in the void, and drawn the attention of the curious: 1) The Pilgrims are a race of bird-like critters (restyled GW Kroot). Enslaved (before man stood upright) until a rebellion freed them, they are looking to return to their origin. Some believe that earth is home. 2) The cleaners (Alpha Forge Asteroid Miners) have arrived after the world destroyed itself to collect all of the useful resources laying around. Nobody is totally sure what that means, but they will find out.

I also have a number of mercenaries, traders, nomads, and various wasteland brigands, knaves and larrikans. Some are small groups of a few figs, others are individuals.

And, there are the beasts of the wild, and various mutant foliage and fauna.

Looking great. Really grimy, dirty feel to them.

Lovely job on them both. Both on my long list of to get.

You have got a good variety of factions to choose from there. Will be good to bounce between them all when things get a bit stale
