Taking a break from working on my water truck, thought I'd work on a creature conversion.

This is my first Reaper "Bones" figure. The original is a Creature-From-the-Black-Lagoon-Stegosaurus hybrid, carrying a big wooden/stone club. I wanted this guy to be more post-apocalyptic so I'm changing the club to a fire-hydrant with pipe. Plastic pipe, hydrant from Black Cat Bases(?), I think. Pretty straight-forward so far.

Been filling the gaps with green stuff, but I need to find something to fill small gaps that's softer and easier to work with.

EDIT: Fixed broken pic link

Let us know about the painting of the Bones fig, I've read complaints about their not wanting to take paint and the paintvnot adhering to the surface of the miniatures.

Remember, one key is to wash the Bones with warm/hot water and soap.
I have read no primer needed. Both sides of that coin have chimed in on that topic. I personally don't know yet from personal experience.
