I know that many on this forum also tend to check out Lead Adventure, but for those who don't .... a few bits I have been playing with for ages which I finally got finished by virtue of having no job for a while. My wallet's loss is my hobby's gain. The net result in this case is Rosie and her Junktown Scrapyard crew. My models are vaguely Fallout inspired (so god knows what happens now number 4 is on the way). I have a group of surface dwelling survivors underway (living in Junktown) and then a gang of well equipped Vault Dwellers - a few sneak peak WIPs at the end. Rosie, aka the Scrap Queen runs Junktown's surprising well equipped but inevitably shabby Scrapyard and salvage operation.  Her brother Cutter is the technical brains, happiest only when turning large things into piles of smaller things.  Mr J is the quiet but effective muscle that keeps the competition in line. He is also quite handy with explosives, so he looks after the bomb shed...  Fit Nina and Shae are the power tool princesses of the outfit.    Scooter keeps all the equipment working, but he won't paint it.   Travis makes stuff..and he smells.   Trent breaks things  A couple of group shots   A few shots of the junk The tank   The Humvee  Piles of stuff   Scrapyard equipment   A few glamour shot of the crew     And a few sneak peeks of the bigger bits of equipment still WIP. The Hughes Corporation Recycl-o-matic   The Tandy Super-crusher   And I mentioned the vault dwellers. I have a ton of WIP stuff but here is just a bit to whet the appetite. One of five trucks that carries their remote surface site operations teams, plus a couple of site clearance and entry bots.  Hope you like it. More to follow while the break lasts... |

Yep, salt and hairspray it is. Worked better on some than others because I was using cheap car spray paint. In most cases this worked fine (and was very quick), but in a couple of places it got a little gloopy |
