Selling 6mm is not going to make you rich, especially when you do skirmish, which means your customers rarely need more than two packs of any infantry. So I had an idea. The idea is to have a Limited Edition range which is made of unique 6mm models that you can buy on their own. They will be spun from the master mould so that will mean they are less readily available, but that will help keep my costs down too. But the question is; how much would you pay for a nice 6mm character model that you can buy on its own? I am thinking 50p. Now, 50p is by most standards much more than any other 6mm figure. But in skirmish land where you may only want that one specific figure, is it really too much? I mean after all, it is only 50p which is what, a fifth of a cup of coffee? So far I have a nomad wanderer explorer, he has a million backpacks and a big coat with a hood, and he has goggles and is carrying a bat. If I could try to get you to play 6mm PA what sort of figures would swing it for you? I am thinking a wandering family, husband, wife an young daughter, ragged and living from hand to mouth. Guy in a long coat with a pistol, the coat may or not be brown? Guy in a t-shirt with a bad ass rifle, may or may not have a silly hat? Muscle guy with some sort of axe/saw blade attached, may or may not like meat bicycles? Guy in a bowler hat and a gas mask? Given that PA rules and my Stonehaven / Junker buildings are very PA suitable I am hoping to tempt at least one of you into 6mm with some single purchase 6mm character models.. Some |

I have started a crowd-funder to pay for this project, had some donations and have previewed the first of the 6mm badlands character models: http://www.gofundme.com/angelbarracks |

Cool idea. If this works out might you consider civilian PA vehicles? (Cars with scraps of metal and maybe the option to add a weapon or two?) |

In principle I like the idea, but I think you'd get far more mileage (pun absolutely intended) by releasing cars first and then drivers. At that scale there is applicability to Car Wars, Battle Cars and anyone who wants to scale down other games. Foot models would be a nice addition but I could not see playing squad level 6mm, as little as I would do grand armies in 54's... |

Ah yes, but don't underestimate how many players of 6mm sci-fi there are out there. There are plenty of people that play 6mm at small levels, not as many as play bigger 6mm, but enough. If I know anything it is 6mm and bacon. |

I'm sure there are lots of 6mm guys, but I've never met anyone but Grand Army chaps. I have a bunch of 6mm cars for Car Wars as I mentioned, and they work great at that scale. IMHO cars would be a bigger market than peds at that scale, but you seem to know better. Good luck and hope to see your progress if you get this going. Edited by TooBoCu, Apr 25 2015, 11:59 AM.

Bacon and 6mm The only thing I've ever done in that scale is use some 6mm skeletons as architectural details on 28mm buildings. I know, I just love my 28's But It seems there is a dire shortage of mutants on ALL scales .Minis based on movie characters ,some not mad max stuff coinciding with the release of the new movie should be welcome as well. If I would ever dabble , your stuff would be at the top of my list though .You are a master of that scale sir

I've slung some cheese you way. Would like to know what a "meat bicycle" is though. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's illegal in Russia though... |
