I can heartily recommend ripping apart old Faxes and printers, as lots of the feeders can be used to make ruined industrial kit; and they have quite a few cogs which could also be of use... just be careful of the ink cartridges/spools and things they may have had prolonged contact with! |

Nijamonkey; Probably not the same product, but I use bulletin board cork tiles by Dooley Boards. I get 'em in my local 'Freds' (Any general store should have it.) $3.50 or so for 2 sheets with the more coarse consistency. (What most of my barricades are made up of.) $5-something for 4 sheets of the finer-ground stuff. I use it for bases more than anything, but it's got more than enough texture to work nicely. Just spray with a layer of gloss black spraypaint, a few layers of flat black, and it's rock solid. Use the cheap dollar stuff; works just as well, if not better than the more expensive brands, it's cheaper, and the board will soak it right up. (If you're curious about why I use gloss, it's much thicker, and dries more sturdily, while remaining flexible, kind of like a layer of glue. I try not to spray it on very thickly because it will clog detail, and it takes a -long- time to dry. The durability is worth it, though.) |

Hmmmm last entry Sept 2009.... ![]() So I know I'm supposed to be building stuff in my tubs but as I've come to a somewhat "boring" (re- difficult) bunch of models I sorta got sidetracked...... I sat having a ciggie in the Shed of Boobs checking out the water on the floor (light flooding down here, nowhere near as bad as Queensland (north-east of Australia for those in need of a geography lesson...)) when I happened to glance at my crate of broken kids toys and assorted crap.......procrastination here I come! Some time later..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As I'm working on my SGII/Sci-fi models I had originally intended to make something more clean and futuristic, kinda missed the mark huh? ![]() I'm leaving it for the night and I'll check it tomorrow to see if it needs any last minute changes then I'll prime it. Oh, what is it? It'd have to be 'Ike Repairs workshop, now I'll have to add a biker gang to my To-Do-List. |

It's been over a year since I played in here IB, easy to miss ![]() The tools are precast, 1:35, I got them off a vendor at the local model train expo last year. I do have their website somewhere but I can't find it on here ![]() I've got a ball pein hammer and a banch vise left as well as a decent looking set of bolt cuters and rusted hand saw (plus grain shovels and spades). |

Danny, It is the "Shed of Boobs" after all, shouldn't float? By the way Ross, I'm going to add a "Shed of Boobs" to my PA town when it is built, but it is on the St. Milla town map already As is "The Hole", and "Sam and Ella's".Tink |
