Some of it comes in handy, if you slice and dice it and make it look nothing like it was intended.

Some bits are great for adding detail to terrain or vehicles too. They have thier uses.

Freebooter: I think everyone who has ever even looked at a GW kit has that problem. As soon as anyone hears you're thinking about starting x army they'll drop every bit for x, y and z army onto you just to clear out their bitz box

I need to meet these people!!

Well, looking good so far. I can't wait to get up your way for that game when we finally get around to it.

Is that meant to be a chimney on the right hand side?

I ought to get some WWWII stuff finished before you come up Ben!

Thanks for the encouragement guys, and yes, that will be a chimney once it's shaped (I needed for the glue to dry before I can cut it to shape).

But then I'd have to come down and visit you Benny.... oh wait, I could go on my own...... tee hee hee

Oz, you're almost there, it's going to be a water tank (over here, corrugated iron water tanks were once very common, now rusted out and fallen over corrugated iron water tanks are pretty common...).

It's kinda funny how old alot of the Aussie out back looks. I swear some of the Windmills and water tanks out bush are 50 years old if not older. Rusted out water tanks are a really common sight.

50? Add a few years :D It does depend on the success of the farm mainly, the bigger ones that produce alot tend to update their stuff more.

I took some absolutely awesome shots of a farm's dump where my brother works, I printed the pics but don't have them on file. It had an old VW, the really old chipboard TV's, poison drums, bundled wire..... it was up in the Mallee so it was red dirt, barely any grass, and what was there was dry and brown, and no trees for km's!

And more there is, or, well, the same stuff just a little further down the track...

The lot, added four couch's to the mix and added a bottom to the water tank:

Done a bit more to the cork-crete building:

One of the outer wall tore right off instead of leaving bits stuck to the base so I had to re-glue it and have another go.

And progressed a little more on the burnt out wooden house:

Oooh, that burnt out house is gonna look special :)
Why the couches? I'd imagine most couches would be a bit past their use by date by now... Wooden benches maybe?

Dan, who says I'm not funny ;)

Nah, definitely couches. Fallout 2 has quite a few floating around outside, at least that's the theory I'm working on :D
