Ghoul Posts: 11 Group: Members Member #735 Joined: Nov 7, 2014	needed something to me back in to writing so i wrote this a mix of many things At the beginning God created the world of carlon fromm the scatch from the highest mountain to the lowest plian to most complex beings to the simplest creatures and with that he told his creatures to go forth and fill the world make delivered as you please and to grow and prosper.he saw how far the creatures descended into darkness and how some would not go too far from his light. And with that he created the brightest light and pasted on top of the tallest tower so as to light the world. As creatures did grow and prosper in their warm flight yet as time went on a grew more arrogant and forgot him they committed crimes and untold horrors seeing this God grew angry and turned off the light plunhing world into darkness the sky grew black and world shall and was from hence this day for change never even now is later , we just do not know why yet seen the suffering of his quiz one true God did again turn on the light and now his creatures perplexed And shocked want to once again to grow and expand like ages before but now aim to find out the secrets of Lighthouse and take it for themselves notes this takes places a while after the light went out and is more about the rebirth of world with risieng nations and new gnags and ethic groups than just gangs tech levels differ massively from dieselpunk city-states to underground self suffcant bukers, to medieval tibeial nomads living standards differ massively as well from half staved under class slaves to well fed and educated middleclass societies also differ hugly from neo fasist new nations to halfling communes to mage biker gangs. magic exists in this world but at a very low level is much much more crude think that blood ritueials and runes with a bit of shamen type things how the fall happen is debateable and weather it was god or just a natraul disaster is unknown everyone has there own opinion on it the lighthouse does exist and people have found it and come back form it , but it seems to change palce each time and no one know who created it, the only theory that is consitance it that the lighthouse grants untold of powers to people who find it finaily hwat do you guys thinnk

I like the vagueness of how the world died. That is awesome. I also really dig the White Tower. It definitely captures the imagination. I hope you write more on your background, I'm interested in seeing it take shape.

Ghoul Posts: 11 Group: Members Member #735 Joined: Nov 7, 2014	ok back now so time for fun ok lets start with the diesel punk states the diesel states are a string of cities and nations that lie between the Anantur sea and the Dalietum moutions, nestled beween theses two it is roughly thought of by histroaisn that after the fall people fled over the mountains to the safe palins and small ports and towns there. serval things led to the diesel states, a combation of the loss of several key technoglys due to the the effect of times leadign to tech being filled in with the tech could be be made or produced . the secound thing is the area between the sea and moutians is rather sheltered and furtile meaning that the area was able to develop pretty quickly and gorw spreading otu only beign stoped by the wasted plains on one side and the hollwoed ruins on the over leavign a area to devellp in a snese form everyone else in tis own ltitle world it was only when caverns where able to clear the waste and the the mintersy of supplies allowed trade thou the ruins that they where opened up to the world. and now are able to take there aplce in the world thou albet with no expansion the states and powers in the diesel states breif notes - tech wise each society is around 1940s tech whse with anything more adavanced, is jury rigged, made using other methods or saved tech. - polticail power wise they have regionial power projection but little else a lack of technigcially and issues between then natiosn keep them form veer expanding in any really force - they enjoy some what mixed realatiosn with other nations due to there expansionist wants. - they have a wide range of beliefs and ideoligies giving rise to a constant attacks and warfare bettween them . -despite everything thye are able to support a well functioning [ ish] state and a amred forces such as a air force etc a lto better than some places in the world. new vov milan republic a small country with a major city and few towns and villages it rests in the sunnier aprt of the area near the the hollowed ruins part that means then sea. it is a federal republic, thou not as powerful or as industrial as tis neighbours it being a net exportner of crops and its effcaint "legions" means the republic is able to atlast stave off its enermys. it is belived to have been settled by artists, masons and farmers form over the mountians and settteled here froming a sereis of small patch work republcis before beign united columbia a consitunail monarchy rulled over by its parlilmeant. with a ridig class system never the less it oen of the msot powerful pwoer of the diesel states, it has one the largest navies and industrial bases inthe dieslestates, meaning that it has suffaicnt clot in world, it is belived that when the flal happened that thye already lived on the isladn so merely tuned away form the world ebfroe opening up a few years after and using rheer tech and industrial edge to expand. it possess the more varied relastiosn with the otuside with soem times tradings and at peaces and others at war more to come white russ red russ tantant state the red land union moaterland city the vontian confederation

Due to the courpurte government on each side it was nto long before they where overthrown and a new government was made linking the tow together the system roughly translated means elected strong man or in russ kalvinmach , the elected person would have the powers of a king with only one expectation there would be free and fair independent elections each 10 years which if the elected strong man lost he or she would be removed form power. while a odd system and it suited the time and the poltical climate, the kalvinmich had enough power to push off neighbours , enforce law and order and take neccersy measures to cope with crisis while be accountable to the people. in a sense what followed was a series of kalvinmich that where harse but fair, standing of living improving, there land expanded new technolgy where found and recovered. but like with everything there is always a downside. long story short the title of kalvicmcih became more and more a family thing of the rustamov family with the supporters in the port town splitting the towns for the first time [ at this point both a large cities but still call them selfs towns] . the calling off of elections was the aslt straw and riots and uprising happening, the only place that was successful was the mountain town installing a democracy with very different . With the port town now changing over to a monarchy, which follows over today of a cold war stand off. with the only change being the port town being called white ruse and the mountain town being called red russ, each faction is detriment to win thou a alrck of allies for each and any support for the war menas that it will be a long time coming before they are united white russ today white russ is ruled by Martov rustamov of the rustamov family due to the the cutting off of their trade routes to other nations by red ruse along there ores and metals and production fauciltiys meaning that they are heavily dependant on trade by sea and air leading them to have one of the largest navies and airforces second only to columbia. given this items tend to be more expensive and used more sparingly. as such amgic is use a lto in place thou more juried rigged to get reuslts thou even with poor ruslits mages are still treated well and are usally in the toped parts of the white russ highaicial structures. military wise there formations are mass conspctied formations based around class streutres [nobles officers etc. relying on magic and use of airships and air power to win the day. for a more elite formation the royal guard employ a smaller and more caste less orgastion with tanks and mechs thou few of theses precious machines. red ruse cut off form trade with the sea an under pressure form with in by the disunity within the governments, means that red russ is more concerned with trade inside producing things to feed them sleeves and equip themselves as suhc gear is clunky and blunt but workable, due to a lack of magic users they make use of more machines and technology with the few mages ebign used by the army and government. Due to a alck of unity in the government along with ideology and aims means, that they are divided in everything form culture to production to the military. The military for example tends to be part time militia who often figh each other realign on gill and cunning to win. For a better trained formation thye really on guard formations Saling the full industally and magical might to win thou they are rarely deployed in large formations being parcelled out to boast formations of militias and pirates raiding white ruse shipping.

Despite this however the country does have a rather large intellectual background and and has been respobale for many technical wonders in recent years at the moment it relays on a small but well trained army, navy, and air foces backed by resverised and foreign volunteer units the red land union the red Sea union is unique makes a mix of poor landless farmers and refugees and corporate had came over in the end this created unique mishmash of cultures and that becoming a strange in the end corporate monarchy with a very scritct caste system with the Emperor on top followed by corporations and merchant before the unique warrior class of ksnight as such this is led as well to mishmash of culture and society savings being both forward and backwards by the times best example of this is a very safe has has class and force well-trained crack troops fight alongside nights clad in mechanical Parma this along with a league cup troops this moaterland city the moarter ladn city is a formed form traders the red wastes, settling down near the sea during times long gone due trade . in the end it became more fo city and less of a town expand mreo and mreo and more till it developed its own culture and society. Its now a rather large merchant city, hoping to expand and reavle its nehignbouts it ahs been kept in check do its oppents and tis divison insdie thou the divide between the rich and poor a the city runs onpure cut thorat merchants as such the biggest threat to it is also itself. Its tehc is fairly mixed, and is by cass , with the rich having the most and the poor the elast. Military wise it is mixed is well but maninly a professional military with a very good air force, backed up by some militias the vontian confederation the votian fedaertion is a monarchy small country near tantant state, . a whiel abck it was a string of small states and cities formed form . a mix of warriros and mechancis but now is a new superpower, trying to riase it self up out of the ash. And expaned. Its tech is revaily high and has more old tehc than other factiosn but a relavitly small population and magic base. For a military it realys on a small well equipped consspcit military backed up by there finest war machines.
