Okay here is some work from the vehicle shop. Back at Xmas a relative got me a new Ork Battlewagon so I set to making it post apoccy.

Posted Image
The work on it so far includes a cab, a shield on the gun, most of the Orky stuff shaved off and the wrecking ball assembly removed.

Posted Image
Here is the gunner, he is a mix of mordenhiem and cadian bits with a westwind biker head. Looks nice and wastelandy dont he?

Posted Image
I kept the boarding ramps as this vehicle is going to be used in road piracy actions. I added extra bits to the roll cage and some goodies to the back.

Posted Image

The rear shows a nice rolled up tarp.

Posted Image
The other side with resin goodies.

I am not too sure about the tyres on it. I dont like the spikes on the wheels and I am debating to shave them off.

CnC welcome.

I'd agree with shaving off the spikes on the tires.... I think that was GW's spike fetish coming in to play there ("How do you know's its a GW figure? It has spikes on for no explicable reason!") Apart from that, it looks pretty damned snazzy! I'm looking forward to seeing it in paint!

I really like that truck. I agree with removing the spikes from the wheels, they make no sense.

The only point if the spikes is for traction in soft terrain such as sand or on ice, and then there isnt enough of them for that. Thats it they are coming off. Thankfully the wheels are removable so it shouldnt be too much of a pain to do.

Routing through my box of forgotten Hotwheels autoduel cars I found these little gems. I think they make nice little wasteland buggies or personal transports. At around £1 a car you cant complain too much. Get routing through the toy car bins at your toy store. Note: the weapons on the vehicles are a class higher at hotwheels scale than at 28mm.

Posted Image
A nice little rig from the Sungods auto gang and was a Hotwheels Greased Gremlin. Its got a flamer and a heavy pistol mounted on the roof. It needs more dirt and rust and perhaps a name change.

Posted Image
Posted Image

This little rig could seat two behind each other, or it could hold some cargo. Its a Matchbox dune buggie. Nice little sword on it for running into soft targets. A bolt pistol is on the roof. This weapon would count as some sort of auto shotgun. It needs rust and more dirt.

Posted Image
Posted Image

This rig can also happily seat two 28mm minis and is a hotwheels Rollcage. There is a machine gun on the front mount and a 40K RT era rocket launcher. The rocket launcher will have to go, maybe a twin LAW or LMG will be mounted instead. This needs more dirt and rust.

Posted Image
This machine was a hotwheels 1/4 mile Coupe. Makes a nice little roadster. There is a las pistol on the front spar and a 40K RT-2nd Ed las cannon on the roof. Needs rust and dirt. I might remove the weapons and fit something else.

Posted Image
This is a WW2 puma based mobile field gun. Or it was. It became a heavy for Axels and Alloys. If I tweak it and remove the gun it will make a nice little ATV. I might be tempted to donate this to the Smoggers.

Posted Image
This is a majorette chevorette Corvette. What do you think to the size? It looks a wee bit small, but it matches up scale wise to a 28mm version of the car.

Posted Image
I found this Phatwheels car at tesco for a massive 79p. Looks interesting. Not too sure what to do with it though.

And ditto again!

The ex-puma would work well for the smoggers, and maybe have the phatwheels as some sort of 'armoured' personal transport?

Okay more goodies from the workbench....

This is a 1/72 Peagasus P-245-010 tank kit. It is a WW2 German tank that was to be produced in 1946. Obviously it wasnt. :D Now I can either go and do WWW2 in 1/72 or convert it into a tracked mutant hunting droid for Aryanrieche.

Posted Image

Posted Image

The kit came with 2 tanks. They are snap together. So with the second I am thinking a armoured fast reccie vehicle for AR troops.

Posted Image

Posted Image

2 more WIPs. The car is a cheap chinese thing I have been chopping for 2 years now! The tank is a 1/72 Pegasus KV-1S. It will make a nice armoured run about for some gang. This box had 2 tanks 2, so I plan on another conversion.

Posted Image
Black Swan and Jo Jo check out the new wheels. Swan will be getting a road warrior battle car whilst the Floozies gang will just be getting a transport.

Posted Image

Posted Image
If you are wondering about the beads they are going to make spot lamps....

Jo Jo checks out the sound system. The NR2 rules now have musicians so this rig will be getting a MASSIVE sound system! :D

I like Tink's idea of giving the 'spare' 1/72nds to the smoggers, but that experimental german tank does look like a very good basis for conversion into a primative bot!

Thats a point Tinker....my little ones are with out transport.

Dentantus - I use either Skank or Nuke Ren for vehicle battles in 28mm. I am building for Nuke Ren2 so I will be able to try it out.

Things have been progressing in the vehicle workshop....

Posted Image
Brunel shows off the progress to Black Swan's new ride.

Posted Image
Not too sure about using card for the armour around the minigun. I may replace it.

Posted Image
"The Rear is exposed!" Swan points out. Brunel tries to hide a smirk. Maybe some armour is needed here.

Posted Image
This is the Fatal Floozies ride. Nuke Ren2 has rules for sound systems/music so as this car as a bitching stereo I decided to add a loud hailer made from a radio pack and a toy traffic cone!

Posted Image

Posted Image
A couple of Vali's crew check out the progress on their cruiser. I added a bumper, some mesh, puttly/plate repairs, odds and ends from the bits box, a HMG and a pair of double rear wheels from a toy truck. I love how this rig is turning out.

Kalik checks out the HMG!

C&C welcome
