First up - in primer is a scout walker for the Wasteland Engineering and Construction Company. Its based around a spider walker model from Robogear. The cabin has been scratch build from plastic card and the HUGE cannon added at the rear as the engine exhaust. ![]() ![]() Next is a converted Ork Warbike - the new ones (got it cheap on ebay!). I have added lamps and some checkered plate. The rider is from the Westwind Road Rage bikers set. ![]() ![]() This old sled started out as a 40K Space Marine bike - I found in a box. I shaved the skulls off the tank. The front end has been ripped off and a Ramshackle bike front end added. It fits quite well with the bike. The 4 exhausts have been chopped into 2 pipes (weight savings dontcha know!) and plates cover the gaps. The exhaust down pipes where part of the bash plate - but that wouldnt fit the rider. So I made the link pipes from greenstuff. The rider is another westwind one. This sled need some footrests and luggage. Maybe a lamp too. ![]() ![]() Next up is a trike. Every biker gang needs one. This was a tracked Ork War bike (yet another evilbay bargain). I shaved the frame and added a rear subframe - with extra wheels! The engine gap is filled with green stuff. A gunner platform had been added and a .50cal from a SAS jeep toy added. Looks the biz dont it?! The front has got some plate added. Guess where the rider is from? ![]() ![]() I was picking up cheap ork stuff on evilbay for an army I am bored with. This buggy will see action as a racer/scout. The question is keep it 40K or make the Ork a mutant for my games? Easy conversion this one. Shave the plates off the front, dont fit the mudguards, put the driver there the gunner is, make a nice box for him to sit in, add a mudguard as a capony and the shaved off plates as detail near the rear wheels. ![]() ![]() ![]() A new car into the workshop of destruction is this thing. Got it in Tescos for a massive 0.79p. I got it cos it looked weird. Next to it is a Warzone Imperial trooper (a sniper conversion). Now what to do with it? ![]() ![]() All ideas and CC welcome. More will follow as I have a couple of hotwheels bikes to convert/repaint and stacks of vehicles for converting.

I've had the run down as most of these were being built... and they sounded pretty good, but they look even better than I expected! Well done Danny!

Cool WIP's Dan, I'm liking the look of it all so far. The bikes are sweet, the primed Mad vehicle looks suitably cool (reminds me I need to do another of those). Are you still going to have orks in your PA universe? If you were you could nearly keep the driver as he is (on the Ork buggy) but he does SCREAM 40k to me. |

Yeah - the greenskins will be still on the world. As some sort of GELF/Bioweapon. So I might keep the buggy. Although I seem them as more of footslogger band living in the hill and mountains. Still it might be cool to make some sort of giant battle beast for them to ride in....

The vehicle shops have been busy! First up "MAD"'s truck in paint.... http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/madtruckptd1.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/madtruckptd2.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/madtruckptd3.jpg I found a 4x4 mini in a gift shop in Wales a year ago. The roof was a thick wodge of plastic with a welsh dragon - it looked poo - so it had to go. Here is were the vehicle builders got to so far: http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/mini1.jpg Then I found this big truck in a plastic army man box. It makes a good cargo/goon transport. It has been repainted. It still needs some additional dust and muck. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h177/mattblackgod/bigtruck.jpg The minis look a bit small - but this is a wasteland rig - Big is Better! |

MADs truck looks good, and the armyman track looks really good! As you say - bigger is better (atleast as far as the wasteland is concerned) |

V8 Broom broom! Nice work on the MAD one. The truck looks big and meaty, but the one I love is the little white one! I'm hanging to see that one finished! |

I had to add a V8 to MAD's truck seeing as he is a parody of a certain Road Warrior! Yeah I started the mini ages ago and forgot I had. The rally car look is great and more fitting for a PA setting over a standard car. Not too sure what colour to paint it at the moment. Its tempting to do a welsh flag paint job on it seeing thats where I got it . I have seen a couple of custom bikes painted like this and they look quite good. I may add some sort of weapon coupla to the roof.

Its a Rally Mini Mini needs twin webbers poking out of the bonnet.... extend the wheel arches , bigger wheels. Extra tank filler on opposite side No chance of an ERA surviving they are rare as rocking horse poo now anyway... ( Damn its a loooong time since I use to do race preps for minis) |

Digging about my junk room for something to make Car Henge and I discovered these lost gems! ![]() The beetle will make a great wasteland vehicle and I will use the hotwheels toyota boy racer car for a road warrior pursuit vehicle - I can see this in MFP colours!

The Beetle will need some work to the chassis as its a cheap toy (50p!) and the gap inbetween the chassis and body is a bit empty for my tastes! |

I was mooching around Woolies looking for Hotwheels for my Nephew (well thats my excuse and I am sticking to it!) and I found this Hot Wheels tractor - its just the right scale for 28mm. ![]() Sweet ride eh? I have a Hill Billy gang on the boil some place so this will be one of their vehicles! |
