Hey, I have had this sitting in the back room for far too long. Time to get-er done. This is foam core building I got long ago, and for some reason abandoned. I think I had issues with the materials I was using to modify it.. but too much time has passed and my memory is shite so, I'ma give it a go.
I will give you some photos of what I did to it, and ask that you guys, from your points of view, what works best with a multi-floor building, less built in clutter, or more?
These photos: all of the white Polly foam board is glued in, but can be removed easily... (Elmer's glue) so let me have it.. what works and what sucks.

Roof with Billboard for rent, one is gonna be=: (Tinkers all you can eat buffet) (Every Radiation-day, try the best wasteland cuisine!) Or something along those lines.. could use more thought there!

Overview of the floors:
Other thoughts: I suppose I could play through to make this as many floors as you want, just re-use the floor you left... add it above, that sort of thing.
Tell me what you think!!

Looks good to me ! i say less clutter, maybe a clean build with lots of bits thrown in. More play options that way. Either way, it looks awsome so far !

This looks great. I would go for less clutter. You can always use removable furniture which adds to the versility of the building.

You could google Fallout posters for the billboards.

Thanks! I agree, I started, rebased, and gutted the bottom floor. I will replace the windows, and pretty much all foam board with delicious styrene! make it look like steel. gutting all floors, Billboards are being kept! TY Boss for the Fallout idea! I will give that a whirl in time.

Woke up with an idea about this. Several factions will occupy space outside the tower entrances, and control their own entrance to the tower. Sort of a rent/your useful to me for now, so stick around.. That kind of idea.. Gives me a ton of ideas about who Owns/operates 4-Penny tower..
Also there will be an access to a basement/generator, and a sewer system access.. (for safe travel of course) to and from without detection... it will be infested with beasties.. (TY_Fallout!!!) :drunk:
Get you some photos ASAP.

Hey.. Thank you Tinker! The few people I have let in that room are astonished and cant figure out how it was done.. If you want to get good at something do it on a big scale... then ponder the outcome. That is what I did. Also, I plan on building a multi level underground city where work bench D is, (the one you see in the photo) so that wall will be the retaining city wall...Not sure when I will get to it, but, that part is done. For the record it was pink, bubble gum pink, and I would never go in that room, till it was repainted! It is a personal win. Do you think it is a good ash waste look/feel?

The doors work, cause I have mild OCD, and spend way too long going, "yeah I can do that".. :frustry: I pin drill them from the jam, and drop in a pin, (I use way too many pins) but it's my thing.. Now this has 4 entrances, so I will be busy a while..
I am glad you dig it and are not :poke: (what is the mutant doing!)
This will take a while, but it will look the part... (WIP) BABY! :bouncy:

That looks amazing! I am curious though, why is there black foam board for the outside of the building and White foamboard for the inside? Is the black board hardier, and does it weigh any more than the white ones? I'm curious, as I might nick the building style for cyberpunk gaming.

Thank you both! @HFC, the Black painted is a foam-resin, (is what the box said) building kit, not sure who made it, a company from Ohio that went out of business, Terra something.. the White is being removed, it is Elmer's White foam board. The Kit is 1/2in. so it is thicker. Watch using foam board, it warps when I paint it, I have abandoned it. Sucks cause I built some cool stuff, but I can't paint on it without it warping.. :stab:
the white styrene is a dream! that is what I have been using, different thickness, but it is a perfect medium, but it is not cheap. Take anything you want! That is what these are for! Warning, the door assembly is a bit more work than it is worth! :drunk:

I almost forgot! Remember when you work with foam, to spay, use H2O spray paint, regular has a chemical that eats the foam! :(|thumbup:
