I agree with dice, maybe put knots in it for climbing, and it can be a sniper nest. Change of the guard can climb up, and relieve the watch... that kinda thing? |

I can offer two ideas, though I am not sure how they will work. 1.) thin gauge floral wire. (like .20 mil) .. braid around the wire to give it the texture of rope. glue it in spots. 2.) twine.. (harder) cut to desired length, take apart, (Elmer's glue) to get it around the wire, again for the texture of rope... Knots: I would use milliput.. like the green stuff.. (Kneedite).. but to me it is way better.. once the rope is textured, apply the stuff of choice at the desired intervals, use a tooth pic to shape. Hope that helps and doesn't take you an eternity.. with milliput.. it dries to the hardness of plastic/resin.. that is why I like it... it can be sanded, and drilled, same as plastic. |

I am actually sitting here doing a version of the twine one, really thin twine wrapped around the whole length of the wire, i might try the green stuff knots, or may try to tie real ones.... Thanks for the ideas, if this fails i will try your floral wire idea as well ! Thanks again . |
