I finished the water board. The opposite side is what I use for urban settings so it was fitting the use the other side.

Very fitting - if you live in the Thames Valley a water board IS urban terrain at the moment... :rain: The flooding is that deep they're having problems with Somali Pirates. :Arr:
If you use a lot of mutants you could use it for Somerset. Apparently the arrival of the army recently saved some local women from drowning - they accidentally broke the village witch ducking stool...
All the media attention is starting to upset the inhabitants of the Levels - they're worried all the cameras will steal their souls... :camera: :witchdr:

Cheers,

M

Yeah I have heard that about hot glue as well. What I have found is if you use material that will is either porous, OR melts at close to the same temp they adhere and stay that way a LOT longer. Cardboard for instance, if the glue is hot enough, will actually soak into the paper material. The plastic sheeting I use melts well if you let the glue gun really get hot.

The only problem I have seen, is in cold weather - hot glue pops loose pretty easy.

If it's applied right it helps too. A couple small dots won't cut it. If you can, apply it liberally, then smear it between your pieces it makes a big difference.

Next project....finishing all the stuff that's been assembled...and never painted.

Cool stuff! I love the stuff you are doing, very nice. I like the idea of a 'water board' I may try and get a table top and paint it up for water and make some islands.

Maybe play some sort of waterworld/zombie apocalypse game. Hmmm, zombies climbing up onto boats of survivors... That could be interesting.

Good looking pieces, the sewers looks great.

Good to see some use of capacitors in there too, they make good looking barrels/drums.

Yeah I have been looking for a good source of modern barrels but they all seem expensive. Alas, I may just have to cannibalize some of the recycled computers from work.

Here is some more junk piles. I put some walls up as well.

I know they aren't ''terrain'' but...

Tau drone my buddy gave me several of. I painted them all rusty so as to look like they have been around a loooong....time. They are the closest thing I can find for relatively cheap without ordering from Russia.

The shirtless mini was a Drax that I modded with a force lance from a Grey Knight. I think he looks a lot better, but I'm still gonna repaint him - strip it down the plastic. He actually looks like me right now.

More to come.

Some really neat items in that pile of photo files BM19. Once ya paint up the piles of clutter they'll be wonderful pieces of terrain!

I like the straws build up as walls. You going to paint them as rusty pipes?

Thanks all.

@Brummie - yes I plan on making it a stack of pipes, some newer than others for a ''we just gotta get this thing built'' effect. Most will be rusty though.
