well i've always had a soft spot for 40k! even if it is broken in so many ways! i first played 2nd edition many years ago so i'm now going to have a go again! so for me it as to be Chaos............and NURGLE in particular!.............you see.... lots of RUST! lets see what i've started...........

the base's couldn't be simpler i used GW's new technical paint AGRELLAN EARTH, i painted the base black then applied the earth, it cracks as it drys! it's not too bad but as i plan on using these now in games instead of just show, i don't think it will hold up to game play, so i'm re-basing to a wet mud look? got to think long term with these.............

I was going to as about the bases also, got my answer.

I'm not a fan of 4DK but if your going to collect something Chaos is the way to go...................................or Orks,they are cool to.

Mr C Orks are very............cool! lots of very PA vehicles! hmmmm? will have to do some of them now!
Tink good idea about the battleboard i know there are crackle paints in a spray can, will have to track them down?

Hey Al,

That doesn't count as a "Brain Fart" that workers amnesia, you know, ya get home and try to forget about work. It's similar to when you were a child you'd come in from school and a parent would ask, "What did you learn today?" "I dunno..." :lol:

cheers Rych :yes: .................you need to get out more! :lol: welcome to the dark bits of the forum! i need to add 'tufts' to break up the base............and i'm thinking of putting a 'stain' around the feet/boot area to simulate where ever they walk they cause decay? plus........do you guy's think i should do a bit of OSL on the plasma gun?
