Ran one game on Friday and again on Saturday, with four different players at each game. Friday saw a meatbag victory - shooting down all four appliances - but the two surviving vipers didn't have enough remaining parts between them to make half a fighter. Saturday's game was an appliance victory with only one experimental raider limping its way back to base. Both games went back and forth, were under two hours each, and with nothing but first-time players. I will happily run this again at conventions when able. :(|thumbs:

EDIT: Forgot to mention - two fighters per player.

"Meatbag" & "Appliance" too funny!  Sounds like you had some fun putting on the game too.

Thanks for all the linkage Al... I'll have a go at reading through the materials!

More than happy to instigate & enable!

It's fun and easy to play; a generic set of rules that can easily be modified to taste. The local group is already migrating from the X-Wing pre-paint game that was all the rage last week to the Star Trek equivalent, so Tacship will scratch the space-fighter itch - and for a hell of a lot less bottle caps. I've statted out some Star Wars fighters and started to hash out a few scenarios. [Subtle Hint] Hopefully, a Wing Commander fan will get hooked and post some conversions from that franchise. [/Subtle Hint]
