Hello I'm new here. I recently started working on some models. I haven't done much of this stuff (war gaming, miniature painting) before, so please be gentle on your comments. Any tip on how I should continue painting these are welcome. I also have a blog where progress is recorded. http://deathurgent.blogspot.se/ ![]() ![]()

Very cool cars. I would suggest some rust and weathering... Although before that just pick a few colors and get some base coats down, and then weather the heck out of them.

I will, I just have to learn how to paint miniatures. I'm going for Ramshackle's turorial on rust and weathering but I have no previous experience in painting. |

I like the polished look of the cars. Maybe you could try to work with it? What if some road warriors will not allow rust to eat way their precious vehicles, but instead take great care to keep them blinky-blinky? I mean, running a post apoc battle car could be a prestige thing. We are used to the rusty look and it´s cool and all, but well, people were poor in the middle ages but I cannot imagine a knight in a rusty armor. Imagine death races as a kind of tournament were you are going to impress your enemies, the few ladies left with teeth, mutant fans or whatever. |
