Had a wild hair this weekend and started breaking apart a Tonka Truck I had picked up for a couple of bucks. I want to make a travelling merchant with a subtle feel of 19th century snake-oil salesman. So I came up with Professor Reprac's Wonderous Traveling Emporium. Usually I always forget to take pics of WIP. Mostly because there is never a plan in place, just an array of fits and starts. Anyway here it is as of now:

This is the early stage of conversion. I took the tank of the back and started modifying the bed for building. And tweeking the front end a bit:

And here's what I did with the tank (cut it in half at an angle to appear rusted out and sinking into the ground). Might paint it tonight:

Here's the shelf I'll insert onto one interior side of the bed. as part of the Professor's stock:

And finally here is the engine/mechanical workings of the rig. Not finished but underway:

Hope to have it finished this week. I'll post more pics as I go

cheers!

Girlfriend wasn't feeling well last night (so I got to stay home and play with my toys). Finished Reprac's ride. I'll add a few bits post-paint.

I even printed out Reprac's sign and weathered it in some leftover coffee. I'll afix it to the blank panel on the driver side when the paint job is finished.

Cheers!
