I play alot with my nephews, the younger generation lacks a wee bit of imagination, they want to see smoke and fire ! well i cant let them take a can of hairspray and lighter to my mini's So i came up with this for now, just wanted some opinions on it, maybe how to improve it? I know for smoke alot of gamers like cotton or steel wool with tea lights, but i would have to wait to get those.I figured this was fast cheap and almost free. And no little switches to fiddle with and break ![]() Fire from flame thrower! ![]() ![]() Smoke with a little fire from mortor round? ![]() If they look passable, i will make all sizes and shapes! |

It probably is the camera but the flames from the flamethrower seem to have green-ish spotches - is that on purpose? Other than that I really like it - beats some boring template any time! The smoke I'm not so fond of, I think cotton looks way better for that. |

The flame is great, really like it.The smoke is ok but needs something, looks too solid maybe?I would run a wire armature down it and carve out more of a swirling random pattern....maybe

Like the flame. For the fire and smoke I recommend steel wool with a redish orange base. |
