Around the time that Terminator: Salvation was released in theaters, 7-11 was doing a promo for the movie that included little plastic mototerminator figures that clipped onto drinking straws. As it turns out, these figures were in almost perfect scale with 28mm minis. Sadly, they seem to be impossible to acquire these days. Over at TMP, someone posted some pics of several 7-11 Mototerminators they had painted up for their own "Terminator" game. Prolly the best pics of them that I've personally seen thus far. While looking at the above pics, I said to myself "Self... with a few of the right Tau bits, we could probably kitbash some of those." So.... any suggestions/input regarding parts or how-to? |

7-11 toys? That's great re-servicing product! Those cycle wheels appear to be a pair of Hero Clix bases glued together! |

Not Heroclix bases for wheels. Loving the Mototermie's. Too bad my buddy who now owns a 7-11 didn't own it back when the movie came out. :-( Grimm Edited by Grimmnar, Feb 22 2013, 09:30 AM.

If you can still find them, you might start with the heroclix ghostrider bike. I've got some. The wheels pop off fairly easy. I haven't matched up a good replacement for the flaming wheels, but you might try the wheels from those small "army man" trucks and jeeps. They have thick tread on the edges, but not much detail in the middle. |

The base is an old Dark Eldar jet bike but the vast majority of the bits are indeed Tau. It still needs some work obviously but... |

Fantastic! Missed the 7-11 toys, so I glued some heroclix bits to the sides of a hotwheels motorcycle.
