       Generic Scavs - these guys will have 'chracter' cards drawn up with their various stats, to make random force creation for SSS easier...   Culties - need to find a good source of melee armed hooded cultists, which I can then add gas masks too... |

no ,i think my eye sights getting worse :[ good idea though,can do lot of damage with a black widow,there is a youtube video of people firing pistol crossbow bolts with them,might be inspiration for you. |

It has been quite interesting lurking on the UK preppers forum, and seeing them talk about possible weapon options. The sling-shot and crossbow are the most commonly mentioned

@3-Fingers: I agree, there are some worryingly gloomy types on there. I've got an account, but haven't posted, so I imagine it'll be coming down soon. Often poke my head in though, especially when looking for insperation. @William: Thanks! New style for me, heavily influenced by what I do in 20mm... I quite like it as I think it makes the figures feel 'grimy' and worn, where as my older style didn't really. @UBBA: You got it in one! No idea what it'll count as in game (maybe he has been playing with the gas regulator, and I can class it as a light rifle [.22 and there abouts]...) |

And some more bits (Figures from Tiger, Brigade, Offensive, BTD, Foundry & MegaMinis; Dogs from Brittania & Tiger; Wolves from WestWind & Alternative Armies) :    The dogs will either be domesticated or part of the feral dog pack I'm planning. Although wolves aren't native to the UK, there are a lot in wild-life parks, and I'm sure there are a few derranged greenies who would try to liberate all the animals during the end of the world... Hence letting me field wolf packs to further give my survivors grief Oh, and the vending machine is to provide a search location for the SSS rules, and is from Anisty... |

Looking good. The great thing about wolves is they can come in many colours in the same pack from black to brown to silver and everything in between. Currently I know of one park in the Highlands with wolves and there is a large sanctuary some where on the Welsh-England borders. Wolves are brighter than dogs and often can figure a way out some compounds (they often mess up trap door workings a figure how to use the pulleys to open them). Many compounds have electrified fences so when the power goes out it won't be long until they are too. We have all seen videos of police & army German Shepherd dogs leaping/climbing over 8 foot walls. Wolves are capable greater heights. It's not much of a stretch of imagination for them to get free. |

I didn't know wolves were quite so smart, but it's good to know that it's even more feasible to use them in the setting! I think our nearest pack is at Longleat Safari park, but I'm fairly sure there are some more at various other zoos/wild-lifep arks in the area |
