Hey All,

This is my latest WIP based on the 49 Merc chassis from M2's Auto Project's line. VERY nice car to convert!

Got that Go Faster Motif going on do it

I likes it. That particular chassis is hanging low making it look as if it's carrying a bit of a load on it.

The '49 Merc is an iconic "Yank Tank" that's perfect for PA. I'd like to PA (as well as customise) one of the Revell 1:25th scale kits as it comes with the top ready chopped, but I've yet to see a stockist for it on this side of the Pond. But I do have a diecast 1:24th I'm not that fond of, but it'll be far down the list as I prefer working with plastic.

Cheers,

M

P.S. Anyone remember this GW game?

Cheers Mates! The gloss is from the 'dip' I use for my vehicles. I like to paint the weathering and final stuff on top of the dip so it looks more distinct from the actual vehicle, then I do a dullcote finale. These are more WIP pics, I'll post my final on the regular board!

The next Auto Projects car I do I'm going to retain as much of the original paintjob as possible, so I think I'll glue the plasticard right to the body and brush prime those parts only. Try to give it more of a 'bolt on' look to an old vehicle. I think it may be awesome! (And easier...) But in any event, I'll still 'dip'!

Cheers!
