I got my hands on a 1/64 1959 Cadillac Limo, and converted it into a B-17 inspired "driving fortress." Here are a few pics. You can check out my blog to see how I did it: http://carmensminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/

The turret and waist guns all traverse. (The tail and forward guns are fixed; though, with a little time, I could have gotten those tailguns to swivel, I think. I was impatient and wanted to finish this car.)

(All the cars I'm converting for death racing/battling are 1959 and earlier models; in my background, the apocalypse occurred in 1959, and I'm trying to keep the car models in line with my setting. So finding a '59 limo made me happy for sure!)

Love it! I can almost hear the mechanic mumbling to himself "meh...needs more guns!" while building it!

I use a mod of the Charioteer rules by Two Hour Wargames; it's a great game but doesn't lend itself well to good batreps (it gets tedious' "A passes B, C Shoots D, D Bashes C, E drafts D" etc.) I have written a short narrative inspired by a game. You can see it in the Storytellers forums under, "Brother Pilot and the Conception of Saint Buick."

Ok, here are a few more from my collection (I have close to 30 vehicles, but you'll have to visit my blog to see the rest of them. On my blog, search the term "Machinas." Blog link: http://carmensminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/ )

These are all Hot Wheels cars.
